Graduation isn’t the end of a student\u2019s education\u2014it\u2019s just the beginning. That’s the advice that Salesforce\u2019s Trailhead and Developer Relations EVP and GM Sarah Franklin offers new college graduates in a Forbes <\/a>commentary this graduation season.<\/p>

Learning post-college can not only be fun, but also a game-changer for career advancement, Franklin writes. That is especially true in the most exciting job markets\u2014ones built on rapid innovation. To thrive in today’s workforce and keep their skillsets aligned with demand, graduates should focus on continuous learning.<\/p>

\u201cA digital transformation is taking place that requires people to be proficient in artificial intelligence, mobile app development, data science, digital marketing and categories that don’t even exist yet,\u201d says Franklin.<\/p>

Technologies that were out of reach only 5 or 10 years ago are rapidly advancing, Franklin notes. For example, your face can unlock your phone, and your phone can unlock your hotel room door. Your key fob can start and even park your car.<\/p>

\u201cIf this is what we have witnessed in the past few years, imagine what’s going to happen next,\u201d she adds. \u201cDrones that will deliver medical supplies in war zones, the first transplant of a 3D-printed liver, new nanomaterials 200 times stronger than steel.\u201d<\/p>
