Salesforce is honored to once again be named to Fortune\u2019s 100 Best Companies to Work For<\/a> list for 2019, ranked at #2. Fortune’s list recognizes workplace cultures where employees take pride in their work, enjoy working with their colleagues, and appreciate their work environment. Salesforce was ranked at #1 on the list last year, has appeared on it for 11 years in a row, and is the highest ranked technology company.<\/p>

"The thanks for this recognition goes to our employees who create a great place to work for each other by living our values of trust, customer success, innovation, and equality every day," Salesforce Chief People Officer Cindy Robbins wrote<\/a> on the Salesforce Blog. <\/p>

How do companies make it into the Top 100? Fortune partners with the Great Place to Work Institute<\/a> to conduct an extensive employee survey: two-thirds of a participating company\u2019s score is based on the results of the institute\u2019s anonymous Trust Index survey, and the other third is based on responses to the institute\u2019s Culture Audit, which includes detailed questions about hiring practices, communication methods, diversity efforts, and more.<\/p>

\u201cInclusion pays at Salesforce, which has spent $8.7 million over three years to address differences in pay across gender and race,\u201d Fortune reports. \u201cAs for wellness? The goals system, V2MOMs (Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, Measures), now includes well-being objectives alongside more traditional career mileposts.\u201d A detailed breakdown of how Salesforce achieved its ranking is available here<\/a>.<\/p>
