We\u2019re excited to share that Brent Hyder has joined Salesforce as our new Chief People Officer. Brent will be reporting to Salesforce co-CEO Keith Block, and will start in his new role on September 30, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As President and Chief People Officer, Brent will be responsible for overseeing Salesforce\u2019s Employee Success organization, which is dedicated to hiring and engaging our incredible team of more than 45,000 employees and growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brent joins Salesforce from Gap Inc., where he has spent the last 15 years, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. In this position, Brent oversaw all aspects of human resources, including the company\u2019s equal pay, diversity and inclusion, succession planning, innovative talent management and hiring initiatives. While at Gap Inc., Brent also led communications, global sustainability and Gap Foundation. In addition to his more than 20 years of HR experience, Brent has served as the Chief Operating Officer of Gap Brand and as the Vice President, General Manager and Representative Director of Gap Japan KK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brent received his Bachelor\u2019s degree in Retail Management from Brigham Young University. He is on the Board of Directors of Enterprise for Youth, a Bay-area non-profit that helps under-resourced youth reach their potential through transformative paid internship experiences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
