For the sixth year in a row, Harvard Business Review<\/i> has recognized Salesforce Chairman and co-CEO Marc Benioff on its Best Performing CEOs in the World<\/a> list. Benioff is ranked #2 on the list, up from #6 last year.<\/p>

\u201cSince 2015 our ranking has been based not only on financial performance but also on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings,\u201d reports Harvard Business Review<\/i>. \u201cFor the past four years we\u2019ve weighted ESG scores to account for 20% of each CEO\u2019s final ranking. This year we tweaked the formula, increasing that share to 30%.\u201d Benioff is known for his dedicated commitment to environmental, social and governance issues.<\/p>

Other technology CEOs recognized on this year\u2019s list include Jensen Huang, NVIDIA (#1); Satya Nadella, Microsoft (#9); and Tim Cook, Apple (#62).<\/p>
