Today\u2019s hyper-connected citizens expect more from government: transparency, simplicity, and trust that their data is secure. That said, many government agencies still rely on outdated technology and disconnected systems that make it hard to deliver on these expectations and their mission priorities. Salesforce has partnered with government agencies across the country to help them overcome these challenges and assist with their mission delivery. <\/p>

Government Cloud takes a Step Toward a Joint Authorization Board (JAB) Provisional Authority to Operate (P-ATO) at the High Security Impact Level<\/b><\/p>

It\u2019s been our mission to help bring government and citizens closer together. That is why we\u2019re excited to announce that Salesforce has been designated FedRAMP Ready at the High Security Impact Level <\/b>by the <\/b>JAB, a critical step on the path to achieving our JAB P-ATO.<\/p>

A JAB P-ATO will allow agencies to use Government Cloud for the most sensitive, unclassified data (including personal identifiable information, patient records, financial data, and other controlled and unclassified information). FedRAMP Ready is required for all cloud service providers pursuing a JAB P-ATO.<\/p>

This is an important designation for customers who need increased security and compliance. In addition, Government Cloud customers will benefit from the continuous monitoring services provided by the JAB to detect changes to the security posture of the system in order to make better risk-based decisions.<\/p>

Better Relationships Between Government and Citizens<\/b><\/p>

As part of the Salesforce Customer 360, Government Cloud combines the power of our offerings in a single solution curated for government agencies. Receiving FedRAMP Ready at the High Security Impact Level is the next step in our mission to transform the relationships between government and its citizens.<\/p>
