Almost every brand that is thriving is accelerating digital transformation right now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re adapting to new consumer behavior, they\u2019re taking advantage of new technologies that may be more effective in this shelter-in-place situation we find ourselves in, and they are not slowing down.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While many other channels are being disrupted in light of the pandemic, digital is thriving. Customer behavior is changing profoundly, and that change is squarely centered on digital experiences. Blitzer shared some of Salesforce\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/blog\/2020\/07\/shopping-index-Q2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Q2 Shopping Index research<\/a>, that showed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Global digital revenue<\/strong> grew by an unprecedented 71% year over year<\/li><li>Sites that advertised<strong> buy online or curbside pickup <\/strong>options saw digital revenues grow by 127% year over year&nbsp;<\/li><li>Purchases from a <strong>social channel referral<\/strong> grew 104% across the entire industry&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As Blitzer put it at DMEXCO, \u201cMany leaders believe that up to three years of digital acceleration and digital transformation is being condensed into a three
