Salesforce celebrates Pride Month globally every June. Traditionally there are parades, events, and large gatherings, but Pride looks a little different this year as we continue working to get back to \u201cnormal\u201d after the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And while progress has been made for LGBTQ+ rights since the Stonewall Uprising in 1969, there is still much work to be done. There are <\/a>27 states without any explicit statewide laws<\/a> that protect people from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity in employment, housing, and public accommodations. This year alone has been a record-breaking year for anti-transgender legislation, with more than 33 states having introduced legislation to curb the rights of transgender people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At Salesforce, we stand firmly against discrimination<\/a> and are committed to implementing LGBTQ-inclusive policies<\/a>, practices<\/a>, and benefits.
