Recently-expanded research shows that The AI Economist<\/a> \u2014 Salesforce\u2019s open source framework for economic policy design \u2014 can design more effective tax policies than traditional economic methods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The research also shows that the framework can use AI simulations to analyze and show a detailed view of the impact a particular policy will have on society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The research<\/a> was published in Science Advances<\/em>, a selective, peer-reviewed interdisciplinary scientific journal, and was done together with the Harvard EconCS lab<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salesforce\u2019s latest findings show that AI can help \u2014 designing and informing government agencies on tax policies that can improve economic equality and productivity at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
