Also see our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/content\/dam\/web\/en_us\/www\/documents\/legal\/Agreements\/dora-mapping-checklist.pdf\">DORA contractual mapping resource<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>November 10, 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The European Parliament today adopted the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/news\/en\/press-room\/20221107IPR49606\/cybersecurity-final-vote-on-measures-to-protect-eu-s-financial-system\">Digital Operational Resilience Act (<strong>DORA<\/strong>)<\/a>, a new regulation unifying standards for digital and <a href=\"https:\/\/csrc.nist.gov\/glossary\/term\/cyber_resiliency\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cyber resilience<\/a> in the financial sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why it\u2019s important: <\/strong>With much of the financial industry now \u201cdigital first,\u201d more businesses rely on the security and availability of third-party digital services, including cloud service providers like Salesforce.
