Green Code features newly-released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/content\/dam\/web\/en_us\/www\/documents\/guides\/sustainability-guide-for-salesforce-technology.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sustainability best practices<\/a> that help technologists \u2014 from UX designers and software developers to system architects and IT operations managers \u2014 accelerate the world\u2019s journey to net zero.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The information and communication technology sector is responsible for up to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cell.com\/patterns\/fulltext\/S2666-3899(21)00188-4?_returnURL=https%3A%2F%2Flinkinghub.elsevier.com%2Fretrieve%2Fpii%2FS2666389921001884%3Fshowall%3Dtrue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">3.9% of global emissions<\/a> \u2014 almost as much as the airline and shipping industries.
