The survey of 2,552 U.S. consumers identifies four distinct personality types interested in AI agents: The Life-Hacker; the Tastemaker; the Minimalist; and the Smarty Pants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur findings reveal that consumer personas are as varied as the AI agents serving them,\u201d said Vala Afshar, Chief Digital Evangelist, Salesforce. \u201cThe ability of agents to personalize services based on each individual\u2019s traits will unlock incredible opportunities for both brands and consumers as this technology continues to scale.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While businesses are focused on the efficiencies that AI agents can unlock, the study found that most consumers favor tools, like AI agents, that help them reach better decisions, manage information overload, and make their lives easier. The study also reveals a rich landscape of opportunity for AI agents through these key personas:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Smarty Pants (43%)<\/strong> who values informed decision-making<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Minimalist (22%)<\/strong> who prioritizes simplification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Life-Hacker (16%)<\/strong> who seeks efficiency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Tastemaker (15%)<\/strong> who desires personalized recommendations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why it matters: <\/strong>Consumers say <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/news\/stories\/ai-customer-research\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the experience a company provides is as important as its products or services<\/a>. Agentic AI is set to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/news\/stories\/ai-agents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">raise customer expectations even higher<\/a> by making personalized, proactive, and conversational experiences the new standard.
