{"id":88205,"date":"2025-06-26T05:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-26T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/?p=88205"},"modified":"2025-08-21T15:10:48","modified_gmt":"2025-08-21T22:10:48","slug":"daily-ai-workforce-use-growth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/news\/stories\/daily-ai-workforce-use-growth\/","title":{"rendered":"New Slack Research: Daily AI Usage Among Workers Surges 233%"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Workers who use AI daily are 81% more satisfied with their job&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Salesforce\u2019s latest Slack Workforce Index revealed a significant increase in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/artificial-intelligence\/what-is-ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AI<\/a> adoption and excitement among desk workers, with daily AI usage higher by an astounding<strong> 233% <\/strong>in just six months.<strong> <\/strong>The survey of 5,000 global desk workers also found that AI has emerged as a clear competitive advantage, as workers who use AI daily prove to be<strong> 64%<\/strong> more productive and<strong> 81%<\/strong> more satisfied with their job than colleagues not using AI.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Index reveals that workers are using AI to level up, going beyond just automating tasks. <strong>96% <\/strong>of workers have used AI to perform tasks they previously didn\u2019t have the skills to do themselves, and today\u2019s workers are <strong>154% <\/strong>more likely to turn to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/agentforce\/ai-agents\/?d=cta-body-promo-8 attached\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AI agents<\/a> to help them perform tasks better and more creatively, rather than to just simply automate their work.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAI adoption is accelerating rapidly, and it\u2019s changing the way the world works for the better,\u201d said Peter Doolan, EVP &amp; Chief Customer Officer at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/slack\/?d=cta-body-promo-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Slack<\/a>, Salesforce. \u201cAs more workers embrace AI, businesses are able to unlock greater productivity and value, and help their employees focus on work that drives real impact and growth.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why it matters:<\/strong> While workers have been <a href=\"https:\/\/slack.com\/blog\/news\/the-workforce-index-june-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">slower to adopt AI<\/a> than executives, adoption has surged over the past few months, with <strong>60%<\/strong> of desk workers now using AI and <strong>40%<\/strong> using AI agents. And the latest Index shows that trust and confidence in AI grows with use; workers who use AI agents daily are twice as likely to trust them.
