Salesforce.com jumped 12 spots in its second consecutive year on the list.<\/p> <p>According to the list, salesforce.com\u2019s 401K match program and employee referral program contributed to the company\u2019s ranking. All 100 companies on our list are currently hiring, many of the aggressively, leading to more than 96,000 open job positions expected in the next year.\u201d<\/li> <\/ul> <p> <\/p> <p>In only its second year on this coveted list, salesforce.com\u2019s improved placement is a significant accomplishment. Of the eligible companies, only those organizations that show continuous improvements ascend.<\/p> <p>Salesforce.com has led the industry with employment benefits such as coverage for domestic partners and wellness programs. In addition, salesforce.com\u2019s progressive wellness offerings include meal service for new parents, paternity leave, and adoption assistance. The company has created its vibrant corporate culture over the last decade through its integrated philanthropy model and the Salesforce.com Foundation that empowers employees to take up to six days of paid time off to volunteer \u2013 generating more than 174,000 hours of service since the program\u2019s inception. The combination of the rewarding work and rich benefits continue to fuel the company\u2019s success as nearly 40 percent of all hires are made through the employee referral program.<\/p> <p>To pick the 100 Best Companies, FORTUNE partners with the Great Place to Work Institute to conduct the most extensive employee survey in corporate America. Two-thirds of a company&#8217;s score is based on the results of the Institute&#8217;s Trust Index survey, which is sent to a random sample of employees from each company. The survey asks questions related to their attitudes about the management&#8217;s credibility, job satisfaction, and camaraderie.
