De marketingfunnel vertegenwoordigt de volledige customer journey: van het ontdekken van je merk tot het doen van een aankoop. Leads beginnen boven in de funnel en gaan verder omlaag op het moment dat ze meer te weten komen over je producten of services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De funnel is een fundamenteel concept in het bedrijfsleven en combineert elk touchpoint in een bedrijf \u2013 van gesponsorde posts op LinkedIn tot buitenreclame en salesactiviteiten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De funnel is een geweldige visuele voorstelling van de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/nl\/blog\/2015\/07\/het-in-kaart-brengen-van-de-customer-journey.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">customer journey<\/a>: in de bewustwordingsfase begin je met een groot aantal klanten en naarmate de funnel geleidelijk smaller wordt, neemt het aantal potenti\u00eble kopers af.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In de razendsnel veranderende digitale omgeving van tegenwoordig is de funnelmetafoor echter niet toereikend. Het aankoopproces verloopt niet meer in een rechte lijn en is ook niet meer zo eenvoudig. Zoals je weet, is het aankoopproces nooit zo lineair als hier wordt beschreven. Het is daarom belangrijk dat je inzicht hebt in het gedrag dat bij elke fase hoort. En hoewel dit boven en onder in de funnel relatief eenvoudig is, kan de middelste fase een behoorlijke uitdaging vormen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Een voorbeeld: onze potenti\u00eble klant, Zara, wil een nieuwe mobiele telefoon kopen voor haar bejaarde vader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n<p>Zara ziet op televisie een reclame voor een mobiele telefoon met grote knoppen die speciaal is ontworpen voor gebruiksgemak. <b>(bewustwording)<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n<p>Ze zoekt het model online op en leest informatie over alle functies. Ook vraagt ze vrienden wat voor telefoon hun bejaarde ouders gebruiken en leest ze beoordelingen over de telefoon uit de reclame. <b>(evaluatie)<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n<p>Ten slotte ziet Zara online een aanbieding en besluit ze de telefoon te kopen. <b>(aankoop) <\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-waarom-is-de-marketingfunnel-zo-belangrijk\"><b>Waarom is de marketingfunnel zo belangrijk?<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Een goed gedefinieerde marketingfunnel (of salesfunnel) helpt je op het juiste moment en via het juiste kanaal relevante informatie te presenteren. De funnel geeft je beter inzicht in de beweegredenen van je prospects en hun kennis en mate van interesse in je merk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Door je funnel goed in de gaten te houden \u2013 maar ook hoe je prospects hier doorheen bewegen \u2013 kun je voor elke lead de juiste aanpak bepalen, beslissen welke producten\/services je onder de aandacht wilt brengen en vaststellen welke boodschap waarschijnlijk het beste overkomt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ook verklein je met een goede funnel het risico dat je prospects kwijtraakt. Met de juiste communicatie en timing voorkom je dat je potenti\u00eble klanten te snel te veel pusht of bombardeert met veel te veel informatie. Daarom noemen we het door de funnel leiden van klanten &#8216;nurturen&#8217;. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/nl\/resources\/research-reports\/state-of-the-connected-customer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">87% van de zakelijke afnemers verwacht dat verkoopmedewerkers de functie van betrouwbare adviseur vervullen<\/a>.
