As chief financial officer and executive vice president at Salesforce, Mark Hawkins is responsible for leading the company’s global finance organization and is a member of the company’s executive committee reporting directly to chairman and CEO Marc Benioff.

more Hawkins has more than 30 years of experience with leading finance organizations at global software and technology companies including Autodesk, Logitech, Dell and Hewlett-Packard.

At Autodesk, Hawkins served as CFO and executive vice president from 2009 to 2014, leading the global finance, information technology and procurement organizations. From 2006 to 2009, Hawkins was CFO and senior vice president of finance & IT at Logitech International SA.

From 2000 to 2006, Hawkins served as vice president of finance for Dell’s Worldwide Procurement and Logistics organization, as well as vice president of finance for Dell’s U.S. Home Segment. Prior to Dell, Hawkins spent nearly 19 years at Hewlett-Packard where he held a variety of finance and business management roles, including a two-year posting in Europe.

Hawkins serves on the board of directors of Plex Systems, a leader in cloud-based ERP for manufacturers. He holds an M.B.A in Finance from the University of Colorado, a B.A. from Michigan State University, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Neelie Kroes is Special Envoy for startups in the Netherlands and heads the StartupDelta initiative that boosts the Dutch startup ecosystem and aims to place it among the top 3 ranked competitive ecosystems in Europe. Neelie Kroes previously served 11 years as Vice-President of the European Commission, in charge of the Digital Agenda for Europe and in a previous term as EU Commissioner for Competition.

more Before her Vice-Presidency at the EC, Kroes was President of Nyenrode University from 1991-2000, and served on various company boards, including Lucent Technologies, Volvo and P&O Nedlloyd. From 1982-1989 she served as Minister for Transport, Public Works and Telecommunication in the Netherlands. She is an international advocate for the position of women in the tech industry and female entrepreneurship.

Berno (1962) completed his study of Business Administration at Nyenrode University followed by a doctorate programme in Business at the Rotterdam School of Management. He then accomplished the Advanced Executive Programme of the Kellogg School of Management – North western University.

more He has been active in the automotive and car leasing industry since 1998, after having fulfilled positions at Amoco Chemical and Philips. Berno then became Commercial Director at LeasePlan where in 2005 he became Managing Director, which is his current position.
