Well, now we're going
to demo double click
into the Solo Stove demo
from the Commerce Keynote.
Before we dive deeper,
let's take a look back.
And unsurprisingly, I land
on an ad for Solo Stove.
I've bought from Solo
before, I actually
have their portable
mesa stove.
I love to bring it to
the beach and friends
backyards and others,
but a fire pit
could be perfect
for my backyard.
I land here on
the landing page
and I scroll
through and guess
what, the first product
recommendation I see
I click in and
here on the page
I can see all of
the information
I can see its
specifications, reviews,
I can even see it
rendered in 3D.
And all of this
is made possible
by composable
components powered
by composable storefront.
It allows brands like
Solo to break the mold
and really
personalize their way.
I'm going to go up,
add it to my cart.
But you know what,
I get distracted,
as I often do, and just
simply go about my day.
Some time later,
though, on my phone
I receive a notification
from WhatsApp.
It's the Solo bot powered
by Copilot for shoppers
Now, this is a super
powerful experience.
Solo was able to recognize
who I am even though I
was shopping
as a guest user
They're able to piece
together my past purchase
history, my previous
interactions
with their site,
and my engagement
And on top of all
of that, because I'm
a loyal customer, they
offered me a 20% discount.
So this sounds
great, but I'm
wondering if this will
fit in my backyard.
So let me ask Copilot
and snap a picture
Solo replies not
only confirms
it will fit in my
backyard, however,
it also provides all
the specifications
necessary to make
that decision.
In addition to
that, it recommends
that I add the Solo
Adirondack Chairs to help
complete that set
and really fill out
And check this out, it's
the chairs and my stove
all on my patio in
my own backyard,
so I can really
visualize it.
Unique experiences like
these are made possible
by partners such
as Threekit.
So this is looking
pretty good.
I'm going to
reach back out
and I'm asking
Copilot, how much
And Copilot responds
not only with the total,
but a link to a
prebuilt cart.
I'm going to click
in and here you
can see both products
as well as the promotion
And Checkout
becomes a breeze
with options like
Buy With Prime.
I simply select
Buy With Prime.

Amazon account,

I'm Diane Mizota
back with Jon Feldman
and Miryam Meir, product
marketing director
at Salesforce diving
into the Solo brand
demo from the
Commerce Keynote.
Now what challenge
or challenges
was this demo
looking to solve?
I love that question
and I love this demo
because it's showing
so many challenges
that retailers
face all the time.
The first one is just
getting to consumers.
So he start the
demo on Instagram
through an
Instagram ad that
engages Alex, who has
shopped at Solo Stove
Then he goes on
to Solo Stove
and he abandons
a cart, just
as what we were talking
about where life is busy,
you want to buy
something, you forget.
And then you have
these everywhere.
I think what's
really unique here
is in the past, I've
gotten text messages
from abandoned carts
that felt really generic.
But here it's actually
reaching back out
to Alex in a super
personalized way
and that's all
with AI and Copilot
powered by the data
we have about Alex.
And then what's
even cooler
is Alex is able to type
back because he wants
to buy the stove,
know where it fits,
and send a picture,
get what it looks
That would sell
me in a heartbeat.
I'm already on the list
to get a Solo Stove,
so I'm like just give me
that rendering I'm good.
So you can buy it
through WhatsApp,
but then I think the
coolest part about this
for Solo Stove is actually
getting Alex to transact
in the end, adding this
and the other products
to his cart and
giving him a discount
so that they know he's
going to checkout.
And then best of all,
having all those options
to checkout as
we just talked
about know, the challenges
with Checkout experiences
and know that he's going
to get his product on time
Let's talk about the
Salesforce innovations
that are behind all of
that seamless interaction.
Like what specifically
was being deployed?
I think that there were
a lot of technologies
both on the backend
and the frontend
that made that
work really well.
I thought the backend
stuff was really exciting
because it gave Solo
Stove the opportunity
to really tailor
a shopping
And when they're
looking at the inventory
and trying to make
discounting decisions
about how that's all
going to come together,
So I think the
innovations there
were the inventory on
the Product Display
page, which is a really
big unlock for retailers
or direct to consumer
customers who sell
The search was
really strong,
I really liked all of it.
And as a consumer,
I want my products
to arrive on time and
as quickly as possible.
How are we helping
commerce customers
deliver on these desires?
So there are two things we
talked about, Kem talked
about Salesforce Checkout,
which is really helping
customers transact
and checkout in so
many different places,
not just on the website.
But then the other
really cool one
is actually the Buy
With Prime integration.
So our new partnership
with Buy With Prime
is going to allow
Salesforce commerce
customers such
as Solo Stove
to add this option
to their Checkout.
And as a shopper
you can actually
use Prime and
your benefits
to know that your stove
will arrive on time,
that's guaranteed,
and we'll get there
And so what would
you say to customers
who are maybe a little
hesitant to start
with Commerce Cloud,
where should they begin?
I think now's a
great time to start
I think that when people
think about commerce
implementation, they think
about a multiyear, multi
Commerce Cloud now
is really consumable
and really easy
to work with.
We showed a video
during the Keynote
where Siemens built a B2B
marketplace in six months.
I think getting
started, it's
never been easier with
a small use case is
a great way to get going.
Miryam, Jon, thank you
so much for joining us.
