I'm Carolyn
Bathour, joined by
Christina Midas,
EVP and GM Ameris
Professional Services
at Salesforce,
and Balaji Biswana,
VP of Technology at
Lennar. So let's
dive right in. Well,
Lennar's in the
house. See what I did
there? See what I did
there? Okay, Balaji,
you touched on
working with experts
during the keynote,
which is absolutely
wonderful. Can you
give more details
about your experience
for our audience?
Yeah, I think on
the Salesforce side,
we've got a lot of lean
-in from the executive
team, which has
really, really helped.
We've had far
reach into the
engineering
organization, which
has been firmly
helpful as well.
And the professional
services team has really
leaned in. And it's
not just been their
eagerness or willingness
to help. It's also
their deep technical
expertise in agenting
AI and really trying
to understand our
business, our business
model, and trying to make
it work for us. It's
been a win-win for us
so far. That's great.
And you've been a
wonderful partner in
giving us feedback as
well. And I think some
of that feedback you
get from a lot of our
customers and clients.
We do. What advice
do you give them when
they're looking to
become an agent blazer
like Lenar? Well, let
me just, it needs to be
said, Lenar is definitely
leading the way
and we are walking this
together and learning
so much about what's
possible with our
customers and what we
can do with this great
technology. But I
will say I'm watching
the conversations
really evolve. When I
think about Dreamforce
a year ago, it was about
getting customers to
kick off projects.
Those are not the
conversations now.
We are really talking
about programs
that integrate AI
into their business.
And so it's at scale.
And how do you become
an agentic enterprise
is a very real
conversation we're having.
I will also say that
because of that and
how our customers are
looking at the broader
scale of what we can
do with this technology,
it really is also
circling back to
getting the data right.
because, as
Salesforce always
says, trust is
our first value.
But in this technology,
it's not about the
tech. It's about can
you trust the tech? And
so I feel like in this
evolution, while it's
getting bigger and the
programs are getting
better, it's also
taking us back to making
sure that that data
is a stable foundation
to build upon. But
we really have these
great partnerships that
were trailblazers with
us from the beginning
that are evolving the
way we think about it
and work with other
clients as well. Yeah.
And we've had a lot
of conversations on
the broadcast about
Salesforce being customer
zero, too, because we
want to share the
learnings. And so when our
customers come and help
share their learnings,
it's incredible
because everybody's new
to this. Right. And
you think about where
we were a year ago to
where we are now. It's
been so fast. And
the changes that have
happened just within
that year have
been incredible.
And so having that
true partnership.
And you mentioned that
deep technical expertise,
but the willingness
to help. And so
partnering on those
business processes and then
being able to share
that, it's like a
blueprint for success. I
know, I'm sorry, I'm all
about the puns. So
can you tell me what
you're most excited
about for the future at
Lenar and your partnership
with Salesforce?
What excites you? I
think the possibility to
scale what we've built
to more use cases and
start seeing value at
scale with attribution
is probably what I'm
most excited about.
um we've learned as
we've gone so far i think
the salesforce team
has been with us in
the trenches as we've
uncovered stuff about
our business processes
we've tweaked the
product as we've gone
along we've tweaked the
offering as we've gone
along i think we're
at a point where we
have a few um good use
cases in production
really looking forward to
scale this and really
generate true value
out of bigger use cases
i guess is what i'm
most excited about i
don't know do, Christina?
Yeah, you know, it's
interesting for me.
I am also looking
internally at myself as
I'm watching what you're
doing and the innovation
that's happening at
Lenar. You know, I
run a professional
services organization. So
the whole way we do
what we do is changing
at a very rapid rate.
And, you know, these
are humans. So how do
we convince all these
consultants to embrace
these tools, show up
in a modern way for
clients like yourself
so that we're doing
things faster, better,
more efficient, um, and
bringing the value to
our customers quicker
than we ever have
before. And that's
actually creating a whole
other, how do we price
package value, realization,
outcomes based to
just all the many
changes. So while I get
excited for my customer's
success, I'm also
having to look in the
mirror a little bit
and say, okay, how are
we also reinventing
what we do so that we're
showing up in a really
modern way with you,
um, and changing the
way that we work. So
lots to think about
at night before we go.
We're not looking for
things to think through.
Yeah. And so, you
know, we always like
to look forward to because
this is Dreamforce.
It's all about that
innovation. So tell
us what's on the
horizon for professional
service. What can we
expect? What can we expect?
Yeah. I mean, this
year has been really
exciting bringing in
the FDE motion really
just as a way to
demonstrate a tighter link
to engineering. You
know, we talk about the
constant release motion
that we're in right
now. Well, our
consultants need to stay
very close to what's
rapidly changing. So we
guide our clients and
also learn from our
clients to give that
back to engineering. So
I would expect for you
to see more of that.
And I also want our
customers to see more
outcome based
conversations. I love what
you said about feeling
our team was really
in it for what is the
business trying to
accomplish? What's the
business process? Not
just being enamored
with the tech. And we
really want to pivot
how we engage with
our clients, where the
outcome is what we're
all in it for, not
necessarily the execution
of standing up some
great technology.
Great. Well, it has
been a pleasure.
Thank you both so much
for your insights.
