Create a lead


A lead is a potential customer that is not yet associated with an opportunity or account.


Leads help you track all of your prospecting and outreach activities to generate new opportunities.

How (create a single lead):

  1. Select the Leads tab, then click New
  2. In the lead form, enter all of the information that you have for this lead, including contact information, lead source, industry, and any notes
  3. If desired, you can also rate the lead and qualify it from this page.
  4. When you are done, click Save

How (import a lead list using the import wizard):

  1. Select the Leads tab and choose Import Leads from the tools section
  2. Follow the instructions on the Import Wizard for Leads page to import your list
