Integration Overview

The FenixCommerce Intelligent Delivery Platform (IDP) Cartridge will ease integration of FenixCommerce IDP into your SalesForce B2C storefront. The cartridge, paired with small changes to the storefront code, can be configured to insert order cut off times and estimated delivery dates for any number of shipping service levels on the product page, in the cart, and checkout.

IDP calculates optimal, shopper-personalized pricing for every shipping service level you offer (e.g. standard, two-day, overnight) based on real-time inventory location, customer location, package weight/dimensions, and your negotiated carrier rates. Customer location is obtained via IP address for unknown customers or via account profile for known customers and allows customer to enter an alternative zip code.

You can offer any number of shipping options and control both the products for which they are displayed and the pages on which they are displayed. Displays order cutoff times and delivery date estimates for specific products in the product page and can be configured to display at the item or order level in the cart and checkout pages. Business rules allow you to display estimates for various combinations of products (e.g. minimize the number of shipments vs ship each item as soon as possible).
