Katapult, No Credit Required

Katapult’s consumer-centric focus ensures a quick application and approval process, transparent lease payment terms, tailored plans, and award-winning customer service. We associate with hundreds of durable goods retailers across the United States, providing merchant support, marketing insights, and an open dialogue for continued success when offering evolving customers alternative checkout options, in industries such as appliances, furniture, mattresses, and electronics.

More than $1.5 Trillion a year is spent on large retail purchases. Of those, nearly half of store finance applications are declined and only 15% of the customer transactions are made with financing options. Think of the difference it would make to your business if you had an option for customers who did not qualify for prime financing?

Katapult’s offering allows consumers who do not qualify for traditional financing the ability to lease-purchase the products they need. Unlike other solutions in our space, we are optimized for eCommerce business. Katapult offers a user-friendly checkout experience with three easy application screens, and only 14 required customer information fields, making the checkout process simple and fast with approvals in less than 5 seconds. We pride ourselves on the transparency of our agreements and provide award winning customer service and 24/7 live chat support.

Integration Overview

Katapult's cartridge is a Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SiteGenesis and SFRA compatible solution to help merchants implement a new lease-purchase payment method based on durable goods products.

Katapult allows consumers who do not qualify for traditional financing options, the ability to lease-to-own the products they need. The Katapult cartridge is an easy implementation solution with a detailed guide to implement on SFRA or SG.

You can start the implementation by requesting access to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud partner repositories (https://github.com/SalesforceCommerceCloud/link_katapult). Next, download the code, paste the cartridges on your project and compile the static frontend styles and scripts. Then, import the metadata on Business Manager, configuring a cartridge path, set durable goods products to be leasable and on site preferences, and fill your API Key and transaction order minimum and maximum.

You can access more detailed information by clicking (https://github.com/SalesforceCommerceCloud/link_katapult#readme) here to see our implementation guide.
