POINTS TO CART is a LINK cartridge that easily integrates with Salesforce Commerce Cloud – offering you the ability to easily reward your valued customers and encourage their engagement and participation on your website. This loyalty program cartridge will help you to increase your customer lifetime value, decrease your acquisition costs and contribute to recurring revenues. Your brand will be viewed positively in the eyes of shoppers as they’ll have the opportunity to benefit from your online consumer loyalty program. Customers are made aware of the opportunity to register in several key areas of your site and once registered for the loyalty program, they’re kept informed of their activities and status of the points they’ve accumulated.

All actions that a shopper takes on your website are synchronized and easily viewed and acted upon in Business Manager. Your service agents are provided with all of the information they need to quickly respond to customer activity to ensure their continued satisfaction with your company. Loyalty points can be viewed, granted and removed directly from Business Manager, providing your service representatives with the ability to delight shoppers immediately by resolving their questions or concerns related to your customer loyalty program.

  • POINTS TO CART is designed to extend SiteGenesis functionality to allow customers to earn points for performing certain activities on the website.
  • Customers can redeem their earned points for exclusive rewards. They are also able to take advantage of special promotions targeted specifically to them.
  • The POINTS TO CART loyalty cartridge works using an event based system where each action performed by the user will be recorded as an event together with a positive or negative amount of points and a timestamp. The positive number of points represents activities where the user earned points and the negative amount of points represents activities where the user spent points.
  • The POINTS TO CART loyalty cartridge is designed to provide the basic functionality for a customer loyalty program and at the same time deliver an extensible API to allow for any customization needed for each brand.
  • Based on the number of points earned, the user will be included in a specific tier. The merchandising team will have the opportunity to target specific promotions and benefits to these users by defining customer groups for each specific tier.
  • The user will have the possibility to spend their earned points on the available rewards listed on the site. To achieve this, the cartridge offers two redemption flows: Cart redemption flow – The user adds the reward item to their cart and then proceeds to checkout to place an order; Instant redemption flow – The user purchases the item directly. This process is recommended for digital items such as images, games or e-books where no shipping is required.
  • The rewards catalog page lists all available rewards in a grid format and are represented by products that have a specific point value. The user has the possibility to filter and sort the rewards list similar to a standard category landing page. Each reward is assigned to a loyalty rewards category by the merchandising team.
  • The merchandising team has the potential to manage loyalty orders from Business Manager via a custom business manager module that provides the option to refund points and approve or reject purchases.
