Leader in IT Support Standardizes Its 120 person North American Sales Team on Salesforce.com's Enterprise Edition
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — September 10, 2002 — Salesforce.com, the market leader in online customer relationship management (CRM), today announced that DecisionOne, the largest independent provider of technology deployment and support for the digital world, has standardized its North American sales operations on salesforce.com's Enterprise Edition. With 4,000 employees throughout North America, DecisionOne chose salesforce.com for its rapid, cost-effective deployment and ability to offer offline access for its mobile sales personnel. After an implementation period of approximately 25 business days, DecisionOne was up and running on salesforce.com and able to create a singular, company-wide view of its sales process.
Prior to implementing salesforce.com, DecisionOne utilized a variety of different non-integrated tools to capture sales and customer information. This process made it challenging and time consuming to generate accurate, comprehensive reports on-demand.
