Payment and invoice automation provider honored at UK IT Industry Awards for delivery of IT excellence and customer satisfaction
Salesforce.com, the enterprise cloud computing company (http:// www.salesforce.com/cloudcomputing/), today announced that one of its customers, Bottomline Technologies, received sought-after recognition at the UK IT Industry Awards for its use of salesforce.com technology.
The newly-formed UK IT industry awards merges the BCS IT Industry Awards and Computing Awards for Excellence, creating a platform for the entire IT profession to showcase and celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence.
Presented for the delivery of IT excellence and customer satisfaction across the organisation, the awards were judged by a panel of industry experts, representing The British Computer Society (BCS) - the Chartered industry body for IT professionals as well as the Chartered Engineering Institution for Information Technology.
Bottomline Technologies, a leading provider of collaborative payment, invoice and document automation solutions, won Best SME IT Strategy of the Year for IT innovation and high customer service, after utliising the Force.com enterprise cloud computing platform and Salesforce CRM.
Bottomline developed an end-to-end order-to-cash application built on the Force.com Platform.
