Charities are unquestionably in the midst of one of the toughest periods ever experienced. As we tentatively exit the first wave of COVID-19, we enter a severe recession and face the possibility this winter of a second peak of the virus. Keeping the public’s support will be critical to riding out this storm, but on top of the current emergency, there are other challenges charities must overcome for this to happen.
