Today, Salesforce announced the inaugural Trailblazer Awards, which celebrate the people and companies that use their platform for change.
Driving the news:
- The first Trailblazer Award for Equality will recognize NBA champion, entrepreneur and philanthropist Dwyane Wade for his contributions to advancing racial equity, support of LGBTQ+ rights, and his commitment to greater inclusion of young people of color in industries where they are underrepresented.
- Salesforce will present the Trailblazer Award for Equality on June 9 at Connections 2022.
- Wade will join Salesforce’s Chief Equality Officer Lori Castillo Martinez at Connections for “A Conversation with Dwyane Wade,” discussing his drive to build more inclusive communities.
The Salesforce perspective: “The Trailblazer Awards represent the innovative spirit of businesses and people using their platforms to help make a difference in the world,” said Sarah Franklin, President and Chief Marketing Officer, Salesforce. “We are thrilled to spotlight these remarkable leaders who exemplify our core values, helping build a more fair, equitable and sustainable future.”
