For two leading foundations, Salesforce is the backbone of diverse programming. It's an essential technology for the Thomson Reuters Foundation, who run their four core programs on it: TrustLaw (free legal assistance), coverage of the world?s underreported stories, media development, and the 'Trust Women' Conference. Tipping Point Community fights poverty in the Bay Area by finding and funding the most promising organizations working to educate, employ, house and support those in need. Over the past several years, Tipping Point has refined its outcome metrics to provide much richer data on the impact of its 47 grantees. Salesforce customizations have allowed Tipping Point to better capture, aggregate and compare these metrics through a platform demoed at Dreamforce '14. Hear how Salesforce is a vital and flexible part of how both these foundations effectively run and fund their high-impact and wide-ranging programs.
