Fluxy Lightning: Unidirectional Data Flow for Lightning Components

Managing UI state in modern web applications can be a huge pain with a number of different approaches for data binding and MVC-ish flows.  This session will provide some background on the rapidly evolving subject of state management in front-end development, and how the latest tools and design patterns can be leveraged in Salesforce Lightning Component development. 

We'll start by explaining the difference between unidirectional data flow and two way binding. We'll cover the benefits of both, but focus primarily on unidirectional data flow (Flux) as it has emerged as the standard in modern front end development. We'll also take a look at major Flux implementations and see what ideas can be leveraged in Lightning Component development. 

This session will use discussion as well as live coding to provide attendees with an understanding of how to implement Fluxy Lightning on their own. And of course there will be plenty of time for audience Q&A.
