In this session we will demonstrate how to build a complete solution to collect space utilization metrics in Salesforce using a Raspberry Pi and an infrared sensor. With beginners in mind, we cover what hardware you need, installing the correct Pi OS and using Python script to connect to and write data to Salesforce. At the end you will have a walk through the key elements of the code and an open source project you can use to help you get started on your own.
