Data center operations
We carefully selected our data center partners for their environmental and energy efficiency, and we closely monitor our data center performance and power usage effectiveness (PUE) to drive reductions. Learn more
Real estate and facilities
Our headquarter buildings earned an Energy Star average rating of 86–indicating optimal performance–and recent office build outs have achieved LEED Gold-CI status. Energy efficiency is a top priority for our new 2-million-square-foot corporate campus in San Francisco that will use the latest green building technologies.
Operational efficiencies and reporting
We closely measure and analyze our global environmental performance, manage our reduction programs, and disclose our carbon emissions using the Investor CDP 2011 information request.
Employee engagement
Our employees have logged over 15,000 volunteer hours with environmental non-profits. A new desktop tool gives every employee a view into their personal and team environmental performance. Our Earthforce employee volunteer team helps promote our zero-waste campaign, composting and recycling efforts, and bike-to-work programs.
Corporate citizenship
Environmental responsibility is one aspect of our overall commitment to corporate social responsibility. We’ve received the highest recognition for our leadership in this area, including our listing as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for five years standing.
