Answers to all your burning questions about Salesforce Personal Edition

Q. Can I import notes/activities/history from ACT!?
A. You can export your contacts from ACT! and import those into Salesforce using Salesforce's
import wizard. ACT!'s export wizard currently does not allow export of notes/activities/history to
other applications.
Q. Are there any storage limits?
A. At this time, Salesforce Personal Edition allows individuals to have a maximum of 5MB,
including contacts, accounts, opportunities, tasks, activities, and events. Salesforce Personal
Edition users also have 5MB for document storage. To get more storage, users must upgrade to one of
our other Editions.
Q. Can multiple people share a Salesforce Personal Edition
account?
A. No. Each Salesforce Personal Edition account may only be used by a single user at a time.
Salesforce.com's Group, Professional, and Enterprise Editions allow for easy, real-time sharing
among multiple users.
Q. Can I link a Salesforce Personal Edition account to a shared
Salesforce account or transfer data between them?
A. No. Salesforce Personal Edition accounts are stand-alone, and there is no mechanism to
link them to other Salesforce accounts or automatically transfer data between accounts.
Q. I'm looking at a CRM solution for a single user. Is there any
reason I would want anything besides Salesforce Personal Edition?
A. Yes. While Salesforce Personal Edition accounts have many critical features for individual
sales reps, other editions offer many additional features such as lead management and integration
with your Web site. In addition, these accounts come with full phone and email support. Consult the
