The Business Challenge
With over 170,000 attendees and 3,300 sessions, Dreamforce is massive, and only one of the events we put on each year. Pulling off events of that magnitude is as challenging as it sounds. Employees are tasked with staffing, booking speakers, and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees. Attendees must navigate their way through huge venues and more sessions than they can imagine. Before Dreamforce ’15, we knew we needed to reimagine the event experience for our customers.
The App Solution
Built on the Salesforce Platform, our new Events app brings every event under one mobile-first experience. A simplified, secure single sign-on process through Salesforce Identity and a clean UI give attendees a quick and easy way to access the information they need. Maps allow users to see where a session is taking place and how long it will take to get there, and Einstein recommends sessions to attend, based on key details like attendee industry and business.
