What does it take to be one of Asia’s Best Workplaces Five Years in A Row?
July 20, 2021
We are excited to announce that Great Place to Work has just recognized Salesforce on the Best Workplaces in Asia 2021 list, in the multinational company category. To be recognized in various countries across Asia showcases that, no matter where our employees are, the trust and pride they feel at work stretches across the entire continent. Today's recognition is a testament to our local teams and their impact on helping our customers, communities, and partners, not only in Asia but across the globe. So thank you, first and foremost, to our employees in Japan, Singapore, and India for your commitment to achieving Success From Anywhere in this new digital-first world.
To be considered for inclusion in this list, Salesforce had to appear on one or more of the national Best Workplaces lists. Salesforce was named #2 Best Place to Work in Japan, #7 Best Place to Work in India, and #3 Best Place to Work in Singapore. Being featured within the top 10 in each of the countries is an incredible accomplishment.
While we are separated by thousands of miles, we are collectively united by our core values of Trust, Customer Success, Innovation, and Equality; they guide everything we do as a company and as people.
Curious to know what our employees think about across JAPAC? Or what they envision for their future? And for Salesforce? Read below.
“I feel that the trust, confidence, and ownership Salesforce extends drives me to deliver my best. The “safe environment” at Salesforce makes me feel that it's okay to make mistakes in the process, and boosts my confidence to be creative and innovative at work. When I am able to build the trust element with my AEs and sales leaders, it empowers me to lead them without being their “manager,” which makes all the difference.”
“We have a culture of helping each other. It’s thanks to the support of our managers that I can actively lead Abilityforce, one of our employee-led quality groups. I never imagined that I would be able to raise awareness for the sake of myself until I became a member of Salesforce.”
“I moved to Singapore nearly 11 years ago from the United States. It was supposed to be a 1-year contract but I’m still here. Not only is Singapore is an amazing country and a melting pot of cultures, the work I’m doing is challenging, and the team I’m part of motivates me to do my best each day. I feel supported and encouraged to continue to go outside of my comfort zone, immerse myself in a different culture and country, and build my career...and my family.”
