Finance & Strategy
The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team enables our company's financial goals by Managing, Aligning, and Optimizing company resources. To do that: the F&S team works as a business partner to high-level leadership, focuses on ways to increase revenue, decrease cost and optimize company performance, and F&S makes assumptions and explains variances so management can make better decisions. You will work with leaders on projects involving financial modeling, management reporting, long-range planning, rolling forecasts, and deep dive analysis to get under what makes the cloud business so amazing.
The Controller’s Organization includes a number of teams working together providing insight into the company’s financial performance. You will be assisting Seniors and Managers within Corporate Accounting, Revenue Accounting, and SEC reporting in executing responsibilities from financial statement review and analytics to business process improvements to driving Social Enterprise activities within the Controller’s org. This role operates cross-functionally with other groups within the CFO’s organization including Finance and Strategy, Tax and Treasury, Global Procurement, Travel and Disbursements, Revenue Operations, as well as other partners and third party contractors across the overall business. The insights you will gain after spending a full summer at a fast-paced and challenging environment will provide for you valuable insights that will help YOU decide whether the innovative world of Cloud Computing is for you.
Treasury & Finance Operations
The Treasury & Finance Operations (TFO) department spans a variety of teams including Payroll, Travel, Expense, Accounts Payable, Cash Collections, Cash Application, Credit, Treasury and Treasury Ops. While all roles are unique, the groups interact closely with one another as our processes and policies are connected. The TFO department is a tight knit group that not only works together on Salesforce initiatives, but also partakes in community volunteer activities, development opportunities, and celebrations together. An internship on the Salesforce TFO team will be a valuable experience for someone who wants to learn what a first class finance operation looks like. You will have the opportunity to not only learn about finance, but also about process improvement and leadership. We are constantly innovating to enable our business to grow.
The Tax Organization is part of the greater Salesforce Ohana dedicated to building a team with a reputation for a great career experience, integrity, and technical excellence which contributes to Salesforce’s enterprise value. This position will work with various sub-teams within the Tax Organization and perform tax research, compliance, and other duties.
