Our Success Graduate, Solution Engineer roles offer grads the inside track to a growing career field at the intersection of both Sales and Technology Solutions organizations. This program aims to enable you through career development, continuous learning, philanthropy, and of course, the support of our Solution Engineering team. Solution engineers interact with our customers to understand their needs and business goals, and offer exciting solutions. A solution engineer often acts as a translator, taking complex challenges and offering solutions that are easy for anyone to understand.

Our Associate Solution Engineer, Success Grad Program is offered for grads in business and technical consultancy roles. Grads receive development opportunities centered on comprehensive learning paths, direct involvement with customer engagements, mentoring, and more.

“My time as an intern was incredibly valuable as it not only helped me determine what I want to do as a career but it also helped me further develop as a person. By collaborating and networking with people from different business units and levels, I was able to truly understand what it means to work at Salesforce. Now having graduated and working at Salesforce full time, I can without a doubt say that I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the experiences and support that I received during my internship.”
Samantha Liggins, Solution Engineer Associate, Success Graduate

Get ready to interview.

Our interview process begins with a recruiter screen. This is followed by an interview with the hiring manager and/or a team member. Expect to discuss classwork and previous work/internship experiences. Be sure to brush up on your Salesforce knowledge, as our interviewers love to see if you’ve done your homework (we encourage you to check out our learning platform, Trailhead). The last step is a virtual or onsite presentation. If it’s a mutual fit, an offer will be extended.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is open to all qualified rising seniors and/or students in their final year who graduate before the determined start date.

Program Path.

When joining Salesforce, the program participants’ first year is spent in two phases.
After 12 months, the participants move into their next role in the Solution Engineering organization.
Grads spend the first few months fully immersed in learning about Salesforce and training on soft and technical skills. This includes core product training, obtaining a Salesforce Admin certification (201), delivering mock demos and reviewing Salesforce clouds including: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform.
Participants are deployed to their permanent Salesforce hubs where they practice their newly developed skills in the field working directly with their teams, supporting the sales organization and learning to work with customers, partners, and prospects.
“For any recent graduate, Salesforce is an amazing place to jumpstart your career. The Success Graduate Program provided me with the opportunity to gain Salesforce technical training and contribute to a global ecosystem that delivers customer-focused digital experiences. I work on an extraordinary team of solution engineers who help shape the future of government agencies around the world. Through innovative demos, we create a vision that showcases how Salesforce can digitally transform important government initiatives such as health and human services, grants management, and economic development. I love making a direct impact at work and blazing a trail within Salesforce.”
