Trailmoji Privacy Statement

Salesforce, Inc, is the developer of the TRAILMOJI application.
“Personal Data” means data that identifies or relates to an identifiable individual.
When using the TRAILMOJI application, Salesforce, Inc. may access and collect information from you and your mobile device. This Privacy Statement describes how Salesforce, Inc. processes Personal Data that it collects on its own behalf from or through the App.
What information is accessed?
The TRAILMOJI application collects in-app content selection and user interface related data including screen views and duration; content selection (e.g. stickers, Trailmoji character accessories); information about the device and operating system used; and location information.
The TRAILMOJI application may use certain device sensors such as the camera(s), microphone, and/or TrueDepth camera system via the TrueDepth API for Augmented Reality (AR) experiences.
The TRAILMOJI application does not track text entry or precise geolocation data, and does not share with us or with others personal information stored on your device.
How do we use the information?
The TRAILMOJI application uses data to provide the application, and for the purposes of improvement, development, and verifying overall system stability and efficacy.
We use data from the TrueDepth API only to record video for TRAILMOJI’s augmented reality face overlay feature. We neither store nor share data from the TrueDepth API. We request your consent for the App to use your face data (facial orientation, expressions) and your voice data when you use the App. If you do not consent, the full functionality of the App will not work.
Additionally, when you select a TRAILMOJI sticker, it is copied to your device’s local storage to enable you to paste it into your messages. Similarly, when you select a Trailhead character or other graphic to insert into a photograph or video on your device, that character or graphic is copied to your device’s local storage.
Your face data is used within the App to control your 3D avatar so that it mimics the orientation and expression of your face in real time and so that you can decorate your avatar. Your voice data is used within the App so that your avatar can mimic your voice. Your face data and voice data remain on your device within the App during the session in which you use the App and are not transmitted to Salesforce's servers.
