Agentforce engages candidates as soon as they apply, capturing key details and surfacing top matches so recruiters can prioritize the strongest fits.
A longtime leader in global recruitment, the Adecco Group is trusted by companies like Amazon, Uber, and Procter & Gamble to connect the right candidates with the right roles. The scale is staggering: 300 million applications flow in every year, and 1 million job seekers are placed every day.
At the same time, nearly 10 billion resumes circulate worldwide, creating an incredibly dynamic talent market. Helping candidates stand out — and helping employers find the right fit faster — is critical.
In recruiting, speed isn’t just nice to have — it’s everything. Employers expect a short list of qualified candidates in as little as two hours, and even a 48-hour delay can send business to faster competitors.
Adecco uses Agentforce, AI agents powered by the Salesforce Agentic Enterprise Architecture, to accelerate hiring with a prescreening agent. Rather than submitting an application and hoping for a response, applicants can opt in and connect with Agentforce right away in French or English.
The prescreening agent qualifies candidates by asking recruiter-approved questions about availability, location, eligibility, and key skills as soon as they express interest in a role on a job board or Adecco’s website. Candidates can respond and ask their own questions in natural language, creating a conversational experience instead of a form-driven one.
Candidates prescreened by Agentforce are twice as likely to get hired, highlighting how faster, more intelligent screening drives better outcomes. Since launching in April 2025, the agent has completed more than 65,000 conversations, with about 50% of invited candidates participating and post-conversation surveys averaging a 4.3-out-of-5 rating.
“Anecdotally, we often see the candidate thanking Agentforce at the end,” said Richard Horth, Vice President, UK Delivery. “They almost forget that they’re chatting with an AI agent.”
As candidates interact with the prescreening agent, Agentforce captures their responses, updates the candidate record using a custom object for order generation, and compares their qualifications against the role’s requirements. It then generates a match score based on how closely each candidate aligns with the role. For example, if a job requires candidates to live within 20 miles of a distribution center, have warehouse experience, and be available immediately, the score reflects how many of those criteria they meet.
This gives recruiters a clear, prioritized starting point. Instead of manually reviewing applications to find qualified candidates, they begin with a short list of engaged, prequalified applicants.
“Previously, a recruiter might have spent half an hour combing through applications to get candidates on the phone. Now, they see engaged candidates straight away,” said Kizzy Price, VP of Change and Business Excellence.
Recruiters continue to refine how the agent works, adjusting requirements and improving screening logic over time. “The collaboration between recruiters and the agent is where we see the best results,” said Horth. “They are moving faster and enjoying their work more.”
This is just the beginning for Adecco’s prescreening agent. Using Agentforce Script, Adecco will expand its capabilities by introducing structured interview logic that brings greater consistency and control to screening. This will allow the agent to conduct 50-question screening interviews — up from eight questions previously — all while preserving a natural, adaptive conversation. Recruiters will receive even more complete and consistent candidate insights, helping them evaluate fit faster without adding manual work.
At the same time, Adecco is extending this experience beyond chat. In November 2025, the company launched a pilot of Agentforce Voice, allowing candidates to complete prescreening interviews over the phone in English or French. Built on the same data, guardrails, and screening logic as the chat agent, the voice agent integrated quickly with Adecco’s existing telephony system through AnywhereNow. Within two months, it had already conducted more than 30 interviews in the U.K., and a global rollout is planned for spring 2026.
This is part of a broader strategy to expand how and where candidates engage with Agentforce. Adecco is also developing new agents to process applications, redeploy candidates into new roles, and qualify sales leads. Together, these innovations are creating a faster, more human hiring experience across every channel — one that helps recruiters focus on people, not paperwork.
With Agentforce Builder, Adecco’s teams can design, test, and deploy agents without heavy IT lift. “Salesforce is like switching from a screwdriver to a power drill,” said Luc Paradis, VP of IT and Front Office Technology. “Moving from coding everything to low-code or no-code speeds up time to market.”
The Trust Layer allows the company to use agentic AI within a secure environment by protecting candidate and client data at every step. All data processing adheres to Salesforce Trust policies and international regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, and audit trails for AI-generated recommendations and actions provide transparency and accountability.
