To help architects
design and deliver
scalable, secure
solutions with
confidence in the
agentic AI era, I'm now
joined by three
superstar architects,
Director, Architect
Evangelism,
and Ella Marks, Architect
So you guys,
welcome to the show.
There are so many
resources available.
Where do we start
for architects, Tim?
Gosh, you know, one
recent small victory
with sturdy effort was
we updated our decision
guide documents on
architect.salesforce
.com, and that's the
first step along the
way of so many things
that we have planned
with both the architect
.salesforce.com
site and the framework
itself. So we've been
able to talk about a
new well-architected
framework. Okay, and
what could people look
forward to when they
go to that QR code?
To the site? Sure.
So with that decision
guide and the new
format, the goal was to
say, hey, you look at
this, you know it's a
Salesforce document
and more intuitively
found content within
the document itself.
So a quick TLDR, just
give me the summary.
I'm a really busy
architect. I've got to
go do something else,
and I'll come back to
it. And then information
that's intuitively
found, great guidance
across use cases,
product comparisons,
and even non-functional
considerations that
help them produce
the best solution they
can. Awesome. Sounds
like a great resource.
Now, Miriam, what
are things that every
architect listening
should pay attention
to? So I'm going to
say if we're talking
about resources, for
example, we all know
that everything changes
all the time. And
we publish a lot of
really good blogs and
other decision guides
and other documentation
on the website.
And so a monthly
roundup of all of that
goodness, all the most
successful and most
valuable information
that came out that month,
is in our newsletter.
So that would be my
prime recommendation.
If there's one thing
you do, go away and sign
up to that newsletter.
And every month you'll
have that in your
inbox. Fantastic. I
love a good takeaway.
All right. Ella, we're
moving over to you.
Oh, wait, let's see.
I forgot to read your
QR code. Okay, well,
Miriam, the Architect
Digest, which you
just talked about,
right? People can scan
the code on screen
or go to sforce.co
slash architect digest.
And Tim, we had
your QR code up as
well. So if you
guys want to know
about that decision
guide format,
slash decision
guide format.
and that you can
also rewind this on
Salesforce Plus if
you need these links
and pause it. So
that's a great
feature too. So Ella,
I'm coming to you.
We've talked
about content and
this team has
really been focused
on listening
to community.
Do you have a great
resource to share with
us? I do and you said
we've been listening
to community. I
think that's been one
of our biggest
priorities for the last
six months is really
getting feedback to
drive decision guides,
to drive content that
goes in our newsletter.
And so we've
been running surveys
continuously. You can
find them. We post
them on our social
channels. And specifically
today, what we're
looking for feedback
on are our virtual
events that we're
running for architects.
Miriam has a great
series, Think Like an
Architect. We have an
episode every single
month. But we're
thinking about how do we
continue to innovate
that format to deliver
great content for
architects because the
community is global,
right? And we know, like
Salesforce+, not
everyone's able to be
here in person at events
like TDX. So we want
to continue to bring
this architect goodness
and credible technical
content online
as well. And so we
have a great survey
resource to help people
give feedback and really
be a part of what
we're building here.
We want our programs to
really serve architects
and help them be
successful, especially
in this agentic AI
era. I love that, so
many resources. So if
you'd like to hear more
about the surveys
and learn what other
architects are thinking,
you can go to sforce
.co slash architect
events survey. Now, I
have a question. Let's
say somebody comes
to this event, maybe
they're in a different
field and they're
thinking about becoming
an architect or maybe
they're going to
transition from being an
admin into an architect
role. What advice
would you give them?
I would say
take advantage
and embrace what's
happening right
now. It's such a
great time to come in.
It's a great way to
jump in. There's more
tools at the architect's
disposal than ever.
And yes, we say agentic
all the time, but
it's a whole new
game, so it's so
many opportunities
to get in on the
ground floor. So be
curious and go for it.
That's a great one.
Miriam? Yeah, absolutely.
So I'm going to
respond to the part
where you asked about if
you're an architect maybe
coming from a different
technology. So I think
one of the content
types that we also
have on the architect
.salesforce.com website
is the fundamentals.
And there is a
fundamental there
that explains
exactly how the
platform works
from the ground up.
And so if you're coming
in from a different
technology, that might
be an awesome starting
point for you. I love
that, great idea.
Ella, what advice
do you have?
Check out architect
.salesforce.com. That's
the Architecture
Center. We actually just
last week launched a
new homepage experience
on the Architecture
Center. And our
goal there was to really
surface all of the
new and relevant content
that our teams are
creating and make it
easier to find the
resources that everyone
needs. And so one
of the things that
folks can do today is if
you actually scroll
down on the page,
we've organized our
content by three themes,
building our
architectural foundation,
which I think
would be great in
this case, but
also architect the
agentic enterprise,
super topical,
and also secure multi
-cloud integration.
So these are things
that architects are
thinking about every
single day. We've grouped
a lot of our new
content there and that's
going to continue to
evolve as we release
new content as well.
So it's a great
resource to check out.
I highly encourage
everyone to do so. And
soon we'll have the
links to watch these
broadcasts and all
of our TDX content
there as well. So it's
a great catch-all. So
many links on Salesforce
Plus. And I had
heard at a conference
once that the gap
between those that
understand agentic AI
and those that don't
will never be smaller
than it is right now.
So to your point,
I think jumping
in, getting to know
these resources.
All right, well thank
you guys so much for
joining us and
sharing these amazing
resources for architects
and you guys can always
find more right here
on Salesforce Plus.
