Slack brings your deal team, your Salesforce data, and your AI agents together in one place. Instead of hopping between tools, reps can see opportunity details, loop in the right stakeholders, and get instant answers from Slackbot — all inside the channel where the deal is actually happening. That means faster reviews, fewer status update meetings, and deals that move at the speed of conversation.
Slack connects with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce Agentforce, plus Slack-native Salesforce apps for approvals, record notifications, and workflow automation. If it's a Salesforce record or process, there's a good chance you can bring it into Slack.
Yes! Slackbot can create and update Salesforce records right in a conversation, without having to switch to another tab. Every change goes through human-in-the-loop confirmation before it saves, and admins control which objects are eligible. On top of that, Salesforce Channels — dedicated Slack channels tied to a specific record (Opportunity, Account, Case, etc.) — let teams view and edit that record's data, with every conversation about it archived directly on the record.
Salesforce Flow has native Slack actions that admins or developers can drop into any Flow — for example, auto-creating a deal channel when an opportunity changes. Going the other direction, Slack Workflow Builder can trigger steps that read or write Salesforce records with no code required. Flow-based Salesforce approvals also now run natively in Slack, complete with approve/reject actions inside the channel.
Just tell Slackbot what changed in plain language ("Update the Acme opportunity stage to Negotiation") and confirm the change when it asks. If the record has a Salesforce Channel, you can also use the quick actions right in that channel to update fields, resolve cases, or advance stages.
Yes. Approval requests can post directly into Slack with approve/reject buttons built in, so approvers can act in seconds without logging into Salesforce.
