  •  Location and Dates
    • What is Dreamforce?
      Dreamforce brings together thought leaders, industry pioneers, and thousands of your peers for four high-energy days of fun, inspiration, networking, and giving back. With over 1,500 sessions and thousands of live solutions from the world’s largest cloud ecosystem, Dreamforce has tailored content specific to your industry, role, and company size. Whether you’re a company of five or a Fortune 500, you’re going to see a boom in success by coming to Dreamforce.
    • Where is Dreamforce?
      The Dreamforce campus is made up of multiple venues in downtown San Francisco. This year, the event will take place at the Moscone Center, Marriott Marquis, InterContinental, The Palace Hotel, Hilton Union Square, The Park Central (formerly Westin Market Street), Century Theaters & Bespoke at Westfield, and AMC Metreon Theaters.
    • What are the conference dates?
      Tuesday, September 15th, 2015 – Friday, September 18th, 2015.

  •  Registration
    • How much does Dreamforce cost?
      On-site registration is $1,999.
    • When does online registration open?
      Dreamforce ‘15 registration is open. Register now.
    • How do I register?
      Please register for Dreamforce by going to the registration page.
    • I have completed my registration and want to make a change. What do I do?
      Click the Login button at the top right of the screen in order to log in and edit your registration.
    • I received a promo code. How do I apply it to my registration?
      If you have not yet registered for Dreamforce, begin your registration and follow the instructions. Once you reach the Conference page, insert the code into the Promo Code field. Click Apply to recalculate your registration, hands-on training and/or certification balance(s).

      If you have already registered, please forward your promo code to our registration team via email at Please allow up to 48 hours for your request to be processed, any refunds issued will usually post to your account within 7 to 10 business days after the request has been processed.
    • What is the payment policy?
      Dreamforce accepts several methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Payment must accompany your registration. Registrations without payment will not be processed.
    • What is the cancellation policy?
      Registration Cancellation policy: All registration, training, and certification cancellations must be received in writing. Email your cancellation notice to or fax to +1-650-226-0596.

      - Full refund: Cancellation must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on Friday, August 14, 2015.
      - 50% refund: Cancellations must be received between 12:00 a.m. PT Saturday, August 15, 2015 and 11:59 p.m. PT on Friday, September 4, 2015.
      - No refunds will be given after 12:00 a.m. PT Saturday, September 5, 2015.
    • Are attendee substitutions permitted?
      If you are unable to attend Dreamforce, you may transfer your registration to another person by sending an email to with the new attendee's name and contact information by Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Substitutions requested after this date is subject to a $100 transaction fee. Breakout session enrollments, trainings, certifications, and hotel reservations are not transferable.
    • If I cancel my registration, can I transfer my hotel reservation to another attendee?
      Hotel reservations made through Dreamforce Registration and Housing are not transferable. The substituting attendee will need to complete his/her hotel reservation through the registration process and submit a new credit card to secure the reservation.
    • If I cancel my registration, can I transfer my breakout session to another attendee?
      Breakout sessions are not transferable from one attendee to another.
    • Can I bring a guest?
      Guests will not be permitted to attend any Dreamforce activities.
  •  Accommodations
    Dreamforce contracts hotels and accommodations throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area at a discounted rate for Dreamforce attendees. Accommodations within the Dreamforce room block can be booked during the registration process and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
    Note: This is the only official method for Dreamforce ‘15 hotel reservations. Salesforce does not take responsibility for reservations booked through other channels.
    • Are there special hotel rates?
      There are discounted rates and special offers for Dreamforce attendees at 100 area hotels if you book during the Dreamforce registration process. There are several advantages to booking your accommodations through us at the same time you register for the conference:
      • Special discounts at 100 hotels, with an average rate of $300/night. Please check the Dreamforce Official Hotel List for all hotels and rates offered.
      • Guaranteed lowest rates at the official hotels during the conference.
      • Complimentary in-room Internet access at almost all Dreamforce hotels.
      • Dreamforce will provide transportation to and from Moscone, conference venues, and hotels for the Dreamforce event dates.
      • Flexible cancellation policy with no penalty for cancellation up to 5 days before the event at most of our hotels. Some hotels do require pre-payment. Please check the Dreamforce Official Hotel List for details.
      • Customer Support from the Dreamforce Housing team.
      • No fee for booking a discounted hotel room through Dreamforce Registration and Housing.
    • How do I book a hotel for Dreamforce or make changes to an existing reservation?
      Online hotel bookings for Dreamforce must be made during your initial registration. If you wish to add a hotel at a later date, or update your existing reservation information, you can log in to your Dreamforce account to edit your registration. If you would like to speak to someone directly to make changes, please contact the Dreamforce Housing team (Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. PT) at: Dreamforce Housing will provide rooms at a discounted rate based on hotel availability until August 14, 2015. After this date, available rooms will be at the hotel’s prevailing rates.
    • What is the hotel room cancellation policy?
      If you reserved a room via the Dreamforce registration process, cancellations must be made between two (2) weeks and five (5) days prior to arrival. Failure to do so will incur a penalty equal to the cost of one night's room and tax. Please check the Official Hotel Listing hotel’s specific cancellation policy.
      Note: some hotels may pre-charge a deposit to your credit card prior to arrival, which will be refunded if you cancel within the specified time.
    • If I cancel my Dreamforce registration, can I transfer my hotel reservation to another attendee?
      Hotel reservations made through Dreamforce registration are not transferable. The substituting attendee will need to complete a new hotel reservation through the registration process and submit a new credit card to secure the reservation.
    • What if I don’t check in on my scheduled arrival date?
      If you don’t check-in to your hotel on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel your entire reservation and can choose not to reinstate your reservation, even if you arrive the next day. You will also be charged the penalty of the cost of one night's room and tax, regardless of whether or not the hotel chooses to reinstate your reservation.
    • Can I make a hotel reservation through Dreamforce Registration and Housing without a credit card to guarantee my reservation?
      No, all hotel reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card.
    • Can I pay the hotel with a different credit card than the one I provided when I reserved the room?
      Yes, so long as you are the cardholder for the credit card you present at the time of check in.
    • Can I pay the hotel with a card that was provided when I reserved the room, which is not in my name?
      If the card used as a guarantee for your hotel reservation is not in your name, that cardholder must be present at check in. A credit card authorization form can also be set up with the hotel prior to your arrival. Please contact the hotel directly to obtain a credit card authorization form using the contact information found here.
    • Can I contact the hotel directly to make a hotel reservation at Dreamforce’s discounted rates or to change my existing reservation?
      No. To obtain the Dreamforce discounted rates, new reservations and changes must be made through Dreamforce Registration and Housing.
    • Will I receive a hotel confirmation number after booking my hotel through Dreamforce Registration and Housing?
      No. All hotel reservations made through the registration website are managed by the Dreamforce Housing Team. A final hotel confirmation will be emailed to you 3 weeks prior to the conference confirming your reservation; this does not include a confirmation number. If you would like to obtain a hotel confirmation, please contact the hotel of booking approximately 2 weeks prior to the event. You do not need this confirmation number, only a valid government issued ID that you present upon check-in at your hotel.
    • How can I find out where my hotel is located?
      To find the location of your hotel, please view our Interactive Map.
    • My hotel code isn’t working when I enter it in the appropriate field. How do I fix this problem?
      Please go back and confirm that you entered in the correct hotel code and select the approved dates, usually checking-in on Tuesday, September 15 and checking-out on Friday, September 18. If your hotel code is still not working, please contact Dreamforce Housing at for additional assistance.
    • I want to arrive earlier/stay later than the system is showing as available. How can I adjust my reservation?
      If you would like to arrive prior to the event but are not seeing those dates as an option, use the check-in date of Tuesday, September 15 and the check-out date of Friday, September 18. Once you have a reservation in the system, please contact Dreamforce Housing at to request adjusted dates.
    • Why isn’t the hotel that I’m looking for showing up in my search?
      For best results, use the check-in date of Tuesday, September 15 and the check-out date of Friday, September 18 when searching for hotels. Hotel room inventory at Dreamforce hotels in the Downtown San Francisco area is limited and will sell-out quickly.
  •  Additional Accommodation Options
    • How do I book with Airbnb?
      Airbnb offers a wide range of accommodations hosted by local homeowners. Please visit to search for something suitable for your needs.

    • I’ve heard something about a cruise ship at Dreamforce. Where can I get more information about this?
      The Dreamboat is an exciting new addition to the Official Dreamforce Hotel Block in 2015. If you have questions about the Dreamboat or want to learn more about it, visit this page.

    • Will meals be provided at Dreamforce?
      Breakfast and lunch will be provided during the event. Food is also available at official Dreamforce evening events. To conserve water during California’s drought, we’re minimizing water-intensive products like beef and single-use plastic water bottles. Additional information on locations and times will be posted closer to the event.
    • Will shuttle buses be provided?
      Shuttle buses will be provided between Dreamforce hotels and campus venues. A campus shuttle will service major conference locations during the event. Airport shuttles are not provided. Other great transportation options include public transit, pedicabs, and our complimentary bike valet.
    • Are there group meeting spaces provided at Dreamforce?
      Space at Dreamforce is very limited. There is open space throughout the campus, but no meeting rooms are available for rental.
  •  Dreamforce App
    • What is the Dreamforce Mobile App?
      The Dreamforce Mobile App is your go-to guide for navigating Dreamforce. View and manage your agenda, keep up with all the major events, find your way around the city, and learn more about all of the amazing activities at Dreamforce.
    • How do I download the Dreamforce mobile app?
      Search for “Dreamforce” in the App Store or Google Play. You may also visit these links:

    • What device do I need to use the Dreamforce mobile app?
      The Dreamforce mobile app is available for iOS devices (Versions 8.2+) and Android Devices (Versions 4.2+) The app is not enabled for tablets or Apple Watch. But don’t worry, you can still access Dreamforce app functionality on tablets or any other device loaded via a web browser while connected to the internet.
    • How do I log in to the app?
      In order to log into the app, you must be registered for this year’s Dreamforce. If you’re a Salesforce customer, choose that option and login with your normal Salesforce credentials. You may have also opted to register by creating a Dreamforce user - if so just enter your username and password created during registration.

      Please note that if your Salesforce org requires VPN to login, you will need to be on VPN to log in to the app. You’ll only have to log in one time, so it’s best to do it right away, before you get to Dreamforce.
  •  Community
    • What is the Success Community?
      The Success Community is an online community where you can access help, share ideas, ask questions, and collaborate with Salesforce experts and other users. The Success Community already has more than one million members, and is the best place to get answers and support for your Salesforce experience, now including Dreamforce!
    • What can I do on the Success Community for Dreamforce?
      Dreamforce registration is powered by the Success Community so every registrant will get access to the community. Go to the Success Community to collaborate with your fellow registrants, join Dreamforce groups to get updates and information, and later this year you will be able to build your Dreamforce schedule of breakout sessions. There will also be a mobile version of the app available to help attendees navigate the conference when they get onsite.
    • How can I access Dreamforce on Success?
      You can visit and go to the Dreamforce ‘15 tab to see links to top Dreamforce groups, access your registration, and get links to Dreamforce sessions. You can also access the Dreamforce page on the Success Community by hitting the ‘login’ button on the Dreamforce website.

    • I’m having trouble logging in. What should I do?

    • Where can I find information on San Francisco?
      For information on things to do during your stay in San Francisco, please visit the city’s official visitors’ website.
    • What is the weather like in San Francisco in September?
      Though September is usually a warmer month, San Francisco's weather can be unpredictable. Please pack layers and check before you arrive.
    • Which airports are closest to San Francisco?
      San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest major airport, an easy BART ride or 25-minute drive from downtown. Alternatively, the Oakland International Airport (OAK) is a 35-minute drive over the Bay Bridge and is also accessible by BART.

    • How do I request a visa invitation?
      You can request a visa invitation letter to assist in obtaining your visa to attend Dreamforce. You must register for the conference prior to requesting a visa invitation. Please send an email to and provide the following information:
      - First name as listed on passport

      - Country of origin
      - Passport number
      - Passport expiration date
      - Date of birth
      - Full address of your local United States embassy/consulate

    • What types of tracks and sessions can I expect?
      Dreamforce has over 1,500 sessions, which means there's something for everyone. There are breakout sessions in a variety of formats and levels, giving you a chance to meet with Salesforce product teams, learn from expert users at leading companies, and pick up strategies for handling your most critical business issues. It’s a can’t-miss event for Salesforce users and developers.

      This year’s sessions are all about helping you connect to your customers in a whole new way and helping you answer the following questions:

    • When can I register for sessions?

    • How can I submit an idea for a session?
      We have now closed our call for stories for Dreamforce 2015. If you would like to submit an idea for a session for Dreamforce 2016, check back here early next year.
  •  Hands-on Training and Certification
    • What is the pre-conference hands-on training?
      Want to expand your Salesforce knowledge? Salesforce offers additional courses outside Dreamforce to further grow your Salesforce experience. A full list of courses can be found on the Training page on the Dreamforce website or through the registration process.
    • How do I register for the pre-conference hands-on training and/or a certification exam?
      To book training online, please do this as part of your original registration. If you wish to add training at a later date, please log in to your registration, or contact the Dreamforce Registration team (Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. PT) at: Please note that the pre-conference training is an additional cost to your basic Dreamforce registration. Pricing varies based on courses selected and availability. Payment is due at the time of registration.
    • I have been wait-listed for a hands-on course. What happens next?
      If you wish to attend a pre-conference hands-on training course and were notified the course is at capacity, our registration team will contact you if space becomes available.
    • Can I sign up for multiple hands-on courses?
      No. Please note the start and end times of your desired courses because they might overlap or take place at separate locations.
    • Can I cancel my hands-on course(s) and/or certification exam?
      Yes. You can complete cancellations by logging back in or via email to Cancellations are subject to the standard registration cancellation policy.

    • Whom should I contact if I have special dietary needs or allergies?
      There is a section on the conference registration form for special requests. Please complete this section upon registering or email Dreamforce Registration at
    • What is the recommended attire for the conference?
      Attire for Dreamforce is business casual.
    • Are spouses or children invited to Dreamforce social activities?
      Guest passes are not available for purchase. Children under 18 are not eligible to attend the event.
    • Does Dreamforce have a Code of Conduct?
      We believe our community should be truly open for everyone. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion.
