Sharing My Gratitude for Our Team in Massachusetts
Before we gather around the table for Thanksgiving, I’d like to take a moment to congratulate and express my gratitude to our teams in Boston, Burlington, and Cambridge. It’s their passion, skill, and talent that has led us to be recognized as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the fourth year in a row.
This is the season for reflecting on the past, giving thanks for the present, and planning for the future. Lately, I have been thinking of how appreciative I am for the community we have created in our hub. During the past several months, I have seen the unwavering strength of both our culture and our people. I couldn’t be prouder.
During one of the most challenging times of our lives, I’ve seen our people rally together to support our customers and local community like never before. Here are a few ways we’ve stepped up to help those around us.
Creating and distributing personal protective equipment (PPE)
Delivering powerful solutions with Work.com Shift Management
Volunteering in our communities
In support of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal #1: No Poverty, BBC employees have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to support affordable housing. This year, we’ve volunteered 600+ hours by building sites to create future housing options. We have also provided over $25k in grants to the organization and later this year we will be breaking ground on the first-ever Salesforce sponsored Habitat for Humanity home in Concord, MA.
As you see from the above, we have a lot to be thankful for this year. I’m deeply humbled that we’ve been recognized by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the fourth year; however, my pride in our hub is bigger than just today’s recognition. I’m thankful to be able to call Salesforce BBC my family for the past 14 years!
