The Dreamforce campus comprises multiple venues in downtown San Francisco including the Moscone Center, Marriott Marquis, InterContinental, Palace Hotel, Hilton Union Square, Park Central, and Westin St. Francis. Additional venues may be added.

If you have not yet registered for Dreamforce, click the Register button at the top right of the page and follow the instructions. Once you reach the conference page, insert the code into the promo code field. Click “Apply” to recalculate your registration, hands-on training, and/or certification balance(s).
If you have already registered, please forward your promo code to our registration team via email. Please allow up to 48 hours for your request to be processed. Any refunds issued will usually post to your account within seven to 10 business days after the request has been processed.
If you are unable to attend Dreamforce, you may transfer your registration to another person within your organization (subject to verification) by submitting the new attendee’s name and contact information to the Dreamforce Help Desk. Substitution requests will be processed free of charge if requested by 11:59 p.m. PT on Friday, September 14, 2018. Substitution requests after this date are subject to a $100 transaction fee. Breakout session enrollments, trainings, certifications, and hotel reservations are not transferable.
Hotel reservations made through Dreamforce Registration and Housing are not transferable. Substituting attendees will need to complete their hotel reservation through the registration process and submit a new credit card to secure the reservation.
Salesforce works with hotels throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area to secure discounted rates for Dreamforce attendees. Accommodations within the Dreamforce room block can be booked during the registration process and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note: This is the only official method for Dreamforce 2018 hotel reservations. Salesforce does not take responsibility for reservations booked through other reservation channels.
If you book a hotel room during the registration process, there are discounted rates and special offers for Dreamforce attendees at over 100 area hotels. There are several advantages to booking your accommodations through Dreamforce registration:

Online hotel bookings for Dreamforce can be made during your initial registration. If you wish to add a hotel at a later date, or update your existing reservation information, you can log in to your Dreamforce account to make the changes. Dreamforce Housing will provide rooms at a discounted rate based on hotel availability until 4:00 p.m. PT on Friday, August 24, 2018. After this date, available rooms will be at the hotel’s published rates.
If you reserved a room via the Dreamforce registration process, cancellations must be made according to the hotel’s cancellation policy (between two weeks and five days prior to arrival, depending on the hotel). Failure to do so will incur a penalty equal to the cost of one night’s room and tax. Please check the Official Hotel Listing for your hotel’s specific cancellation policy.
Note: All hotels will charge a deposit to the credit card on file prior to arrival, which will be refunded if you cancel within the specified time.
Hotel reservations made through Dreamforce registration are not transferable. The substituting attendee will need to complete a new hotel reservation through the registration process and submit a new credit card to secure the reservation.
If you don’t check in to your hotel on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel your entire reservation and can choose not to reinstate your reservation, even if you arrive the next day. You will also be charged the penalty of the cost of one night’s room and tax, regardless of whether or not the hotel chooses to reinstate your reservation.
Yes. All hotels require a one-night deposit as guarantee. The credit card used to make your hotel reservation will be charged the equivalent of one night’s room plus tax after the hotel cutoff date. Please check the Dreamforce Official Hotel List for details.
If the card used as a guarantee for your hotel reservation is not in your name, that cardholder must be present at check-in. A credit card authorization form can also be set up with the hotel prior to your arrival. Please contact the hotel directly to obtain a credit card authorization form using the contact information found here.
No. All hotel reservations made through the registration website are managed by the Dreamforce Registration and Housing team. A final hotel confirmation will be emailed to you approximately three weeks prior to the conference confirming your reservation; this does not include a confirmation number. If you would like to obtain a hotel confirmation, please contact the hotel of booking approximately two weeks prior to the event. You do not need this confirmation number, only a valid government issued ID that you present upon check-in at your hotel.
Please go back and confirm that you entered in the correct hotel code and select the approved dates, usually checking in on Sunday, September 23, or Monday, September 24, and checking out on Friday, September 28. If your hotel code is still not working, please email us for additional assistance.
If you would like to arrive prior to the event but are not seeing those dates as an option, use the check-in date of Sunday, September 23, or Monday, September 24, and checking out on Friday, September 28. Once you have a reservation in the system, please email us to request adjusted dates.
Hotel room inventory at Dreamforce hotels in the downtown San Francisco area is limited and will sell out quickly. For best results, use the check-in date of Monday, September 24, and the check-out date of Friday, September 28, when searching for hotels.

Lunch will be provided during the event for full conference attendees. Food is also available at official Dreamforce evening events. To conserve resources, we’re minimizing water-intensive products like beef and single-use plastic water bottles. Additional information on locations and times will be posted closer to the event.
Shuttle buses will be provided between Dreamforce hotels and campus venues. A campus shuttle will service major conference locations during the event. Airport shuttles are not provided. Other great transportation options include public transit and pedicabs.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest major airport, an easy BART ride or 25-minute drive from downtown. Alternatively, the Oakland International Airport (OAK) is a 35-minute drive over the Bay Bridge and is also accessible by BART. Lastly, the San Jose International Airport (SJC) is a one-hour drive from the South Bay, accessible by Caltrain.
You can request a visa invitation letter to assist in obtaining your visa to attend Dreamforce. You must register for the conference prior to requesting a visa invitation. Please contact us and provide the following information:

Registered attendees are able to reserve their spot in individual sessions when Agenda Builder launches later this year. Registered attendees will receive email notification at that time. Breakout sessions will run from Tuesday, September 25, at 8:00 a.m. and end by Friday, September 28, at 2:00 p.m.

Recycle and compost
All of our lunch packaging is 100% compostable. Toss your entire lunch box into the green bin (utensils, box, napkin, and, obviously, food scraps). Our Green Angels, awesome employee volunteers, will be onsite to help you recycle and compost.
Stay hydrated by using your Dreamforce water bottle
To reduce single-use plastic water bottles at the event, we provide attendees with a reusable Dreamforce water bottle. We’ll have water refill stations located throughout campus. Refill and help us avoid using approximately 100,000 plastic water bottles.
Make your stay sustainable
Make sure you turn off the lights and turn down the AC or heating before leaving your hotel room. These small actions can save a lot of energy.
Conserve water by doing your part to keep your showers short and shut off the water while brushing your teeth. You can also save over 10 gallons of water by skipping hotel laundry service.
You can request accessibility accommodations and services when registering for Dreamforce by indicating that you have accessibility requirements. A representative will call you to discuss your needs to make your experience onsite is enjoyable.
Volunteers wearing Abilityforce T-shirts will be onsite and able to assist with any accessibility requests. Event staff will also be able to answer accessibility questions and can direct you to an Abilityforce volunteer.
Support is also available through the help feature of the Dreamforce app.
Rental of mobility devices are prearranged through Scootaround, the recommended vendor. Attendees are responsible for securing their mobility devices, payment, and logistics. To learn more about their offerings and reserve your mobility device please visit the Scootaround Dreamforce page.
Yes. Priority seating is available in our keynote and breakout rooms. You can request this service and others when registering for Dreamforce by indicating that you have accessibility requirements.
If you require reserved seating in the larger keynotes, please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the keynote begins. Look for staff holding signs with the Abilityforce logo who will help direct you to your seat.
Reserved seating will also be available at Dreamfest. ASL interpretation will be clearly visible from this seating area.

Abilityforce volunteers will be available throughout the campus and they will be happy to help you navigate to your destination. Yes, we will have dedicated parent’s rooms in various locations across our campus. The rooms will be clearly labeled and will provide privacy for nursing parent's. Check back closer to the event for exact locations, room amenities, and hours.
