Salesforce books hotels throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area at a discounted rate for Dreamforce attendees. Accommodations within the Dreamforce room block can be booked during the registration process and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: This is the only official method for Dreamforce ’17 hotel reservations. Salesforce does not take responsibility for reservations booked through other reservation channels.

If you book a hotel room during the registration process, there are discounted rates and special offers for Dreamforce attendees at over 100 area hotels. There are several advantages to booking your accommodations through Dreamforce registration:

  • Special discounts at over 100 hotels

  • Guaranteed lowest rates at the official hotels during the conference, with no booking fees

  • Complimentary in-room internet access at almost all Dreamforce hotels

  • All rooms guaranteed to be non-smoking

  • Flexible cancellation policy with no penalty if your hotel reservation is canceled within the outlined dates — please check the Dreamforce Official Hotel List for details

  • Customer support from the Dreamforce housing team

If you reserved a room via the Dreamforce registration process, cancellations must be made according to the hotels cancellation policy (between two weeks and five days prior to arrival, depending on the hotel). Failure to do so will incur a penalty equal to the cost of one night’s room and tax. Please check the Official Hotel Listing for your hotel’s specific cancellation policy.

Note: All hotels will charge a deposit to the credit card on file prior to arrival, which will be refunded if you cancel within the specified time.

No. All attendees must register and book their own hotel reservation.

If you don’t check in to your hotel on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel your entire reservation and can choose not to reinstate your reservation, even if you arrive the next day. You will also be charged the penalty of the cost of one night’s room and tax, regardless of whether or not the hotel chooses to reinstate your reservation.

Please contact the hotel directly to obtain a credit card authorization form using the contact information found here.

No. All hotel reservations made through the registration website are managed by the Dreamforce Registration and Housing team. A final hotel confirmation will be emailed to you approximately three weeks prior to the conference confirming your reservation; this does not include a confirmation number. If you would like to obtain a hotel confirmation, please contact the hotel of booking approximately two weeks prior to the event. You do not need this confirmation number, only a valid government issued ID that you present upon check-in at your hotel.

To find the location of your hotel, please view our interactive map.

Please go back and confirm that you entered in the correct hotel code and select the approved dates, usually checking in on Sunday, November 5, or Monday, November 6, and checking out on Thursday, November 9. If your hotel code is still not working, please email us for additional assistance.

If you would like to arrive prior to the event but are not seeing those dates as an option, use the check-in date of Sunday, November 5, and the check-out date of Thursday, November 9. Once you have a reservation in the system, please email us to request adjusted dates.

Space at Dreamforce is very limited. There is open space throughout the campus, but no meeting rooms are available for rental.

Yes, but it hasn't launched yet. Keep checking back here for updates — it’s coming soon!

Trailblazers are people who grow their careers with Trailhead; transform their sales, service, and marketing; innovate with Salesforce; improve their communities; and work to be their best selves.

The Success Community is an online community where you can access help, share ideas, ask questions, and collaborate with Salesforce experts and other users. The Success Community already has more than 1 million members and is the best place to get answers and support for your Salesforce experience, now including Dreamforce.

Dreamforce registration is powered by the Success Community, so every registrant will get access to the community. Go to the Success Community to collaborate with your fellow registrants and join Dreamforce groups to get updates and information. Later this year you will be able to build your Dreamforce schedule of breakout sessions. There will also be a mobile version of the app available to help attendees navigate the conference when they get on site.

You can visit the Success Community to see links to top Dreamforce groups, access your registration, and get links to Dreamforce sessions. You can also access the Dreamforce page on the Success Community by hitting the “login” button on the Dreamforce website.

Salesforce built Dreamforce registration and the Success Community on our communities platform. The communities platform allows you to connect customers, partners, and employees directly to your business.

Thank you to our Dreamforce Sustainability sponsor, Acumen Solutions.

Each year, Salesforce works to integrate sustainability into Dreamforce by conserving resources, sourcing responsibly, reducing waste and inspiring our attendees to do the same. For several years running, we’re proud to have offset all onsite event emissions as well as the emissions produced by our employees traveling to the event. We invite you to join the conversation and help us make Dreamforce a little greener by joining our Success Community. We’ll continue to share how we’re bringing sustainability to Dreamforce both on campus and behind the scenes.

Thank you to our Dreamforce Sustainability sponsor, Acumen Solutions.

  • Travel green

    • Take advantage of all the low-carbon transportation options Dreamforce has to offer. Walk, bike, carpool using taxis or your favorite ride sharing app, take the free shuttle or hop on public transit like Muni or BART.

    • Salesforce is offsetting 100% of onsite emissions and employee travel emissions. Join us by offsetting your travel.

  • Recycle and compost

    • All of our lunch packaging is 100% compostable. Toss your entire lunch box into the green bin (utensils, box, napkin and obviously food scraps)! Our Green Angels, awesome employee volunteers, will be onsite to help you recycle and compost.

  • Stay hydrated by using your Dreamforce water bottle

    • To reduce single-use plastic water bottles at the event, we provide attendees a reusable Dreamforce water bottle. We’ll have water refill stations located throughout campus. Refill and help us avoid using approximately 100,000 plastic water bottles.

  • Make your stay sustainable

    • Make sure you turn off the lights and turn down the AC or heating before leaving your hotel room. These small actions can save a lot of energy.

    • Conserve water by doing your part to keep your showers short and shut off the water while brushing your teeth. You can also save over 10 gallons of water by skipping hotel laundry service.
