Failure to do so will incur a penalty equal to the cost of one night’s room and tax. Please check the Dreamforce Official Hotel List for your hotel’s specific cancellation policy.
Note: All hotels will charge a deposit to the credit card on file prior to arrival, which will be refunded if you cancel within the specified time.

A final hotel confirmation will be emailed to you approximately three weeks prior to the conference confirming your reservation; this does not include a confirmation number. If you would like to obtain a hotel confirmation, please contact the hotel of booking approximately two weeks prior to the event. You do not need this confirmation number, only a valid government-issued ID that you present upon check-in at your hotel.
Please go back and confirm that you entered the correct hotel code and selected the approved dates (typically checking in on Sunday, November 17, or Monday, November 18, and checking out on Friday, November 22). If your hotel code is still not working, please contact the Dreamforce Help Desk for additional assistance.
If you would like to arrive prior to the event but are not seeing those dates as an option, use the check-in date of Sunday, November 17, or Monday, November 18. Get to Dreamfest in a few different ways.
Oracle Park is a 20-minute walk from Moscone Center and downtown hotels, along 3rd Street. To support our sustainability goals and reduce traffic on city streets, we will not provide shuttles to Oracle Park from the Moscone campus and downtown Dreamforce-contracted hotels. Details about Dreamfest-specific shuttle service can be found in the mobile app. Search for “Salesforce Events” in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). You may also visit these links: Apple iTunes | Google Play.
Public transportation is another easy way to get to Oracle Park. Please reference the individual websites for specific schedules and trip-planning guides.
Using Muni from the Powell Street station, the N or T trains are a quick journey to the King Street & 2nd Street station, which is located in front of Oracle Park.
Caltrain provides service from the SFO/Peninsula area to the San Francisco station, one block from Oracle Park.
BART is another great option for SFO and East Bay locations to get to San Francisco.
Taxis and rideshare services have a specific dropoff and pick-up location on Townsend Street, one block north of Oracle Park.
Parking and bike valets are not available at the venue.
Street closures will be in place to accommodate event transportation plans. Please plan accordingly.
TIP 1: Bring your conference badge — this is your ticket to Dreamfest. Your conference badge is required for entry. We will be scanning badges, and re-entry will not be allowed.
TIP 2: For each attendee’s safety, laptops, backpacks, selfie sticks, and dangerous weapons aren’t allowed at Dreamfest. Your security and safety is paramount to us, so we’ll be doing a full security screening — metal detectors included. Bags larger than 14”x14”x6” will not be permitted — and there is no bag storage at Oracle Park. Attendees are strongly encouraged to return to their hotels to drop off valuables, or to check bags in at the Moscone West coat and bag check prior to heading to Oracle Park. Moscone West coat check will be open until 11:00 p.m., so you can grab your bag after the show.
TIP 3: Please bring your ID if you plan to drink alcohol. California law requires that bartenders check your ID if you are fortunate enough to look younger than 30.
TIP 4: Dress warmly, bring layers, and wear comfortable shoes. Dreamfest takes place outdoors at Oracle Park. The fog can roll in, making for a cool Bay Area evening, so be sure to bring layers.
TIP 5: If you have a free Expo+ pass, which doesn’t include access to Dreamfest, but you’d like to attend please visit The Concert for Kids website to see how you can purchase a ticket and support a great cause. Ticket availability is limited.
If you would like to upgrade your Dreamfest experience and make an even bigger impact in helping provide world-class care to every young person who walks through the hospitals’ doors and across the globe through breakthrough discoveries, please visit the UCSF Children’s Hospitals’ website.
technology and mobile app
Yes. The Salesforce Events app is your go-to guide for navigating Dreamforce. View and manage your agenda, keep up with all the major events, play Quest, find your way around the city, and learn more about all of the amazing activities at Dreamforce.
The Salesforce Events app is available for iOS devices (version 9.0 or later) and Android devices (version 5.0 or later). The app is not enabled for tablets or Apple Watch. But don’t worry, you can still access the Salesforce Events app’s functionality on tablets or any other internet connected device at dreamforce.com.
To log in to the app, you must be registered for this year’s Dreamforce. If you’re a Salesforce customer, choose that option and log in with your normal Salesforce credentials. You may have also opted to register by creating a Dreamforce user; if so, just enter your username and password created during registration.
Please note that if your Salesforce org requires VPN to log in, you will need to be on VPN to log in to the app. You’ll only have to log in one time, so it’s best to do it right away, before you get to Dreamforce.
Please follow the “reset password” instructions. If you are still having issues, you can contact our registration headquarters for further assistance, open Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PT, at:
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest major airport, an easy BART ride or 25-minute drive from downtown. Alternatively, the Oakland International Airport (OAK) is a 35-minute drive over the Bay Bridge and is also accessible by BART. Lastly, the San Jose International Airport (SJC) is a one-hour drive from the South Bay, accessible by Caltrain.

Salesforce is proud to call San Francisco home. We love this city, and we hope that you do, too. Nevertheless, it’s always good to take precautions when visiting an unfamiliar place. Here are some helpful tips for staying safe in San Francisco while you enjoy Dreamforce.
Tips for Dreamforce Attendees:
- Upon leaving Dreamforce events, be sure to remove and securely store your badge.
- Keep your eyes up, your ears open, and your phone away on city streets and on public transportation. This will lower the chance of theft and keep you safe on San Francisco’s busy streets.
- Carry your wallet in the front pocket of your pants or the inside pocket of your jacket.
- Avoid leaving bags on the ground or over the back of your chair.
- San Franciscans are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We encourage visitors to ask shopkeepers, hotel staff, or police officers for assistance.
As always, you can dial 911 to:
- Report a crime in progress.
- Report an emergency situation.
- Request help for someone having a medical or psychiatric emergency.
These tips were developed in partnership with San Francisco Travel. For more tips, visit sftravel.com/tips-tourists.

sustainability and the SDGs
At Salesforce, we consider the environment to be one of our key stakeholders, which is why we focus on environmental stewardship, including creating a low-carbon future for all. We’re working to play a meaningful role in creating a sustainable future by:
- Working toward 100% renewable energy for our global operations
- Continuing to deliver our customers a carbon-neutral cloud and operate as a net-zero greenhouse gas emissions company
- Pursuing green building certification and other innovative green office initiatives
- Leveraging our people, technology, and resources to help environmental causes around the world
When it comes to protecting our planet and combating climate change, we know that business has a key role to play. Events are just one element of our sustainability journey. Together we can create a more sustainable future.
To learn more about our sustainability initiatives, visit the Salesforce sustainability page.
Each year, Salesforce works to integrate sustainability into Dreamforce by conserving resources, sourcing responsibly, reducing waste, and inspiring our attendees to do the same. For several years running, we’re proud to have offset all onsite event emissions as well as the emissions produced by our employees traveling to the event. We invite you to join the conversation and help us make Dreamforce a little greener by joining the Sustainability at Dreamforce group in the Trailblazer Community.
Commit to supporting the SDGs
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent the world’s to-do list for people and planet by 2030. This year, we’re calling on all 170,000+ Dreamforce attendees to learn, give back, and act to support the SDGs. Together, we can solve the world’s most pressing challenges.
Head to Dreamforest to learn and make your own commitment. To give back, stop by the Future Trailblazer Challenge at Kids Coding Camp (Wednesday, 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) and sign up for speed networking during the Future Executive Summit (Friday, 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.).
Take advantage of all the low-carbon transportation options Dreamforce has to offer. Walk, bike, or carpool using your favorite ridesharing app. Take the free shuttle or hop on public transit like Muni or BART.
Recycle and compost
All of our lunch packaging is 100% compostable. Toss your entire lunch box into the green bin (utensils, box, napkin, and food scraps). Our Green Angels — awesome employee volunteers — will be onsite to help you recycle and compost.
Stay hydrated by using your Dreamforce water bottle
To work toward our goal of eliminating single-use plastic water bottles at the event, we provide attendees with a reusable Dreamforce water bottle. We’ll have water refilling stations located throughout campus. Refill and help us avoid using approximately 100,000 plastic water bottles.
Make your stay sustainable
Wherever you’re staying this Dreamforce, make sure you turn off the lights and turn down the AC or heating before leaving your hotel room. These small actions can save a lot of energy.
Conserve water by doing your part to keep your showers short and shut off the water while brushing your teeth. You can also save over 10 gallons of water by skipping hotel laundry service.
