channels are a special type
that are mapped 1 to 1 to a record.

Now you can see and collaborate
right from the record page
without having any context
switch and open the Slack app.

can configure any standard or custom
objects to have Salesforce channels,
whether that's an opportunity

as a component on your record page
configured by your admin.
You'll see a Join Channel button.

And we give you an easy jumping off
point to the page layouts
so you can configure where Slack
appears inside of Salesforce.
In the Lightning App Builder,
for the Slack conversation component
wherever you'd like on the page.
Once you've enabled which objects
you'd like to use for Salesforce
to grant access to your users.
You can instantly grant Slack access
to all of your internal users,
which will create a Slack account
identity management tools,
you can also connect those to Slack
to automate the provisioning
and deprovisioning process.

standard objects like accounts
and they also support custom objects
that your team may have configured.
On the Record Details tab,
that resides inside of Salesforce
and all permissions are enforced
so users only see the data
and can only edit the data
on their Salesforce permissions.
