Salesforce.com Signs Agreement to Establish European Data Centre in the U.K. in 2014
Company selects NTT Europe to build new data centre for salesforce.com’s fastest growing region
Data centre to support adoption of salesforce.com’s cloud computing services among growing base of customers across Europe, Middle East and Africa
London—May 2, 2013—Salesforce.com [NYSE: CRM], the enterprise cloud computing company (http://www.salesforce.com/cloudcomputing/), announced today that it has signed an agreement with NTT Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Communications, to establish a European data centre in the U.K. Scheduled for completion in 2014, the new data centre will be salesforce.com’s sixth worldwide and will support the company’s cloud computing services across its growing customer base in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
