Laura Hilgers
author title Senior WriterI’m a senior writer for the 360 Blog, where I write about all things AI. I came to Salesforce from LinkedIn, and before that, I was a freelance journalist. My articles have appeared in The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, Vogue, and O, The Oprah Magazine.
I’m a generalist, curious about nearly everything, and I’ve been lucky enough to write about a wide range of subjects. These include culture, finance, health, workplace issues, and now, AI. I have a passion for taking complex issues and turning them into compelling stories with a human focus.
I’m probably in one of three places: in the kitchen, cooking; curled up on the couch, reading; or at the beach. I’m an avid reader and will read pretty much anything, including the back of a cereal box. When it’s a nice weekend in Northern California, I’m usually enjoying the Bay Area trails or at the beach with a wetsuit and boogie board.

The more you understand how AI works, and the better you communicate with it, the more you’ll get out of it.
As AI automates mundane tasks, young workers are struggling to get jobs. But AI could also be the key to landing that first role.
As AI transforms the workforce, being adaptable, open-minded, and open to learning could lead you to a new job — or a new career.
