Lindsey Armstrong Joins as Co-President, EMEA

Former Symantec sales leader to lead enterprise sales and alliances in Europe; Joins Global Management Committee

Armstrong will be responsible for leading enterprise sales and alliances across the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Armstrong joins Dr. Stephen Garnett, Chairman and Co-President of EMEA, reporting to Jim Steele, President, Worldwide Distribution in jointly leading the EMEA region, and is part of's global management committee.

Armstrong joins with over 20 years of technology and sales management experience. Most recently, Armstrong was the Senior Vice President of EMEA at Symantec [Nasdaq: SYMC] and a customer. Prior to Symantec, Armstrong was Senior Vice President, EMEA at Veritas, an enterprise data storage company acquired in 2005 by Symantec. During her tenure at Veritas/Symantec she led a high performance team responsible for driving EMEA revenues from $20 million to over $2 Billion. Prior to her leadership role at Veritas, Armstrong spent over 10 years in sales with Oracle Corporation.
