CNN published a profile of Salesforce Chairman and Co-CEO Marc Benioff today with the headline “Forget Bezos. Marc Benioff is Having a Moment.

The piece is accompanied by broadcast clips of Benioff from a CNN interview conducted at Salesforce’s Dreamforce event last month, and highlights his commitment to prioritizing values such as trust as well as his philanthropic efforts.

"He knows he can be a force for good and a force for change," Brian Wieser, Pivotal Research Group analyst, told CNN.

Benioff notes in the story that every company needs to ensure that its "highest value" is trust, rather than "power" or "monetization of ... your social network." Otherwise, he says, companies risk losing customers, employees and top executives.

"I value storytellers," Benioff said, in response to questions about his recent purchase of Time magazine from Meredith Corp. "I value journalists. I value photographers. I value the artists who are going to paint the mosaic that we're all going to march toward. And Time magazine is one of those artists."

The CNN profile is part of CNN’s new series “The Human Code,” with more of the interview expected to be showcased on CNN in November. Read the full story here.
