Paul Drews serves as Managing Partner at Salesforce Ventures, the company’s global investment arm which helps enterprising founders build companies that reinvent the way the world works. Drews joined Salesforce Ventures in 2020 with a focus on application and infrastructure software investments across all stages. He has backed companies across the US and EMEA, and his investments span from seed to IPO-rounds — including Astronomer, Databricks, Lyra, Monte Carlo, Starburst, Vercel, Vivun and VNDLY (acquired by Workday). Currently, he is a board observer at Airbyte, Astronomer, and Vivun.

Prior to Salesforce Ventures, Drews was a partner at Tenaya Capital, where he led investments in companies including Concord and Streamsets (acquired by Software AG). He formerly served as vice president at Battery Ventures, where he was actively involved with or on the board of the firm's investments in Collibra, Jfrog (NASDAQ: FROG), Opsgenie (acquired by Atlassian), Streamsets and others.

Drews holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in economics from Duke University.
