Agentforce Obtains Second-Level Compliance with the EU Cloud Code of Conduct

Agentforce Gets Second-Level Compliance with EU Cloud Code of Conduct

Today, Salesforce announced that the agentic layer to its platform, Agentforce, has successfully obtained a Second-Level Compliance recognition from the EU Cloud Code of Conduct (EU Cloud CoC).

Why it’s important: Established in 2017 with Salesforce as a founding member, the EU Cloud CoC allows cloud providers to demonstrate, with trust and transparency, compliance with GDPR requirements. As companies move toward becoming Agentic Enterprises, verifiable data protection is essential to scaling AI safely.

Driving the news: This recognition for Agentforce comes just a few years after Salesforce Services and Salesforce Services on Hyperforce attained the same level of compliance and is a continuation of Salesforce’s commitment to global data protection laws and requirements.

Fast facts:

  • In 2015, Salesforce was the first enterprise software company to achieve approval for its Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs) for Processors.
  • Agentforce is built on the Salesforce Platform, which integrates the Einstein Trust Layer. The Einstein Trust Layer is a set of agreements, security technology, and data and privacy controls that keep customers and their data safe as they explore and implement generative AI solutions. For more information, see the Einstein Trust Layer Documentation.
  • Other Salesforce certifications include C5 in Germany and the ENS in Spain.
