Announcing the 2020 Partner Innovation Award Winners

At Salesforce, our partners are not only crucial to extending the power of our technology, but they’re imperative to the growth of our entire ecosystem as they drive success for customers across industries. According to IDC, our partners are expected to create 4.2 million new jobs and $1.2 trillion in new business revenues worldwide between 2019 and 2024. And every year since 2012, we’ve recognized the outstanding success of our partners with the Partner Innovation Awards, annually showcasing the most noteworthy success stories across clouds, industries and our partner program.

This year, we were thrilled to see unprecedented engagement with our Partner Innovation Awards. We received more submissions for the awards than ever before: 321 global partners submitted 712 success stories for consideration, representing 108 percent year-over-year submission growth. We’ve also made some exciting updates to the awards program. Now, for the first time, our ISV partners were included in the submission process, and they’re being recognized right alongside our consulting partners for their achievements in customer success across clouds and industries.

We’ve also added five new award categories this year: the Trailblazer Score Awards, where partners are recognized based on success metrics across the three pillars of the partner program: Innovation, Engagement and Customer Success. In addition, there is a new Social Impact Award, acknowledging a partner who has exemplified outstanding efforts towards making a lasting, positive impact in their community; and a Mulesoft Award, for a Mulesoft partner who demonstrated excellence in accelerating customer digital transformation.

And perhaps the biggest change to this years’ awards? The judging process. Salesforce commissioned IDC to be the independent auditor of the 2020 Salesforce Partner Innovation Award judging criteria. In addition to their role as independent auditor, IDC was also engaged by Salesforce as the preliminary judge and recommendation organization to the 2020 Salesforce Partner Innovation Awards Program. Leveraging IDC in the judging process gives a fresh perspective on our partners’ impact to our ecosystem at large.

Analytics

This year, we did not open the Analytics category for nominations. Instead, we used performance-based criteria to determine the two winners based on the past 12 months of performance. Instead of a single Analytics award, we are granting two awards, one for the top Tableau Partner globally and one for the top Tableau CRM Partner (formally Einstein Analytics).

  • Tableau Partner of the Year: InterWorks
  • Tableau CRM Partner Winner: Atrium
