Carson Kahn is an AI and machine learning leader at Salesforce AI. He was formerly the co-founder of Spindle AI, acquired in 2025 by Salesforce, where he currently serves as Vice President & Head of Foundation Models, AI Labs. His portfolio has also included self-optimization, simulation, and recursive self-improvement (RSI) for Agentforce. Acknowledged by OpenAI in its GPT-2 release paper, Mr. Kahn previously founded Volley ML, an early language modeling lab funded by Mark Zuckerberg, later In–Residence at JPMorgan. He also served as President of Brainspace AI, a CIA-backed natural language forensics engine, acquired by Reveal in 2021. Mr. Kahn sits on the Computing Advisory Board at the University of Colorado, and is an alumnus of the inaugural dy/dx residency program at Stanford University.
